"RIP Christy. A woman was stabbed to death 20 times in this hotel in April, 2023. That said, our beds were riddled with humanly fluid stains including semen. We found hairs on the fitted sheets, the bathrooms were gross, and one room was missing a fire detector. When we asked to switch rooms, the others were just as bad. In total, we viewed 4 rooms and none were remotely close to being clean or comforting. The area is beyond sketchy and while attempting to request a refund (we were denied), we found the manager up-charging two men who were obviously under the influence of some opioid. I’m not just a salty customer who got scammed, I’m seriously wanting to warn people of this place. It is unsafe, unsettling and not somewhere you want to be. Please stay away."
"To give a bit of context, I was on a business trip and decided to book this hotel due to the fact that it looked really well. Let me tell you right now that isn’t even cutting it close. As soon as we opened our door to our room 111 and 110 a horrific smell came out. Then next we inspected both 4 beds we had and each bed had a human hair on it, visible stains ranging from white to black, run down walls, and the rooms looked nothing like the photo. Come to find out the photos are 5 years old and aren’t even accurate to the real place. Please just spend the extra money for a better motel because this is not it! It is shame other companies are helping get bookings for this motel. It should be a felony to have a such a horrible room."
"Run away. Immediately. Do not pass go. Comfort Inn prices, Hell Motel comfort. Shockingly bad. I didn't know places like this could exist. As soon as we arrived, our daughter-in-law ran from her room and demanded another. Then she asked for clean sheets that she would install herself. The proprietor refused, so she left for another hotel. I thought my wife and I would stick it out until later that night when we peeled back the sheets. Do they add extra hair the way other hotels add mints to the pillows? It was weird. We looked at the other bed and the sheets were all stained. My wife stood in the middle of the room. I couldn't do this to her, so we paid another $200 to stay at the Gallaudet Conference Center. Ivy City refunded one of the two rooms. You have been warned."
"Spotless room, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, easy free parking, location convenient to downtown but not IN downtown. Some expected amenities missing: bare minimum towels provided; no anti-slip bathtub; no clock radio; no clothes hangers; no ice bucket; no ironing board (iron WAS provided). In our room, air handling system didn't work at all. Big Target store in next block in case you forgot to pack something."
"It's nothing like the pics on booking. I'm sure at one time it looked like that, but now. Unfortunately, not. Also, cleaningless is desired. The sheets were all scrunched up, the room had a strange smell, and the washroom definitely needed to be cleaner, etc. You get the idea. I was traveling and I arrived around 2am no time to look for a different hotel etc. If I did, I wouldn't have stayed there."
