"Internet was down during my stay and I needed it for work. Because of that, the room phones didn't work either. My room didn't have a fridge. Bed wasn't made after the first night. Nothing was provided like water or anything. Room wasn't quiet enough to block out all the noise of the alley in the morning. For a two person room, one of the beds shares the wall with shower, so you can't really use the bathroom without waking the other person up. The good stuff was the location and staff was friendly. Views from the roof was nice. There's a parking garage that's 15 to 20 a night that's a few minutes walking from the hotel. I would stay again if I found a good deal."

"The Pros: Great location in DC. The room is small and quaint, but served its purpose. Free drink when you check in. Awesome heated rooftop bar. Nice gym. The Cons: I get that the vibe of this place is a "hookup" hotel, but... the common areas are NOT CLEAN. Like, adults might want to go back to their college years, but I doubt most adults want to sit on a couch that looks like it has semen stains on it. EVERY EVENING, the main level common area would be covered in dirty dishes and empty bottles that would be left where they are for hours. The 2nd floor "Library," which featured couches and comfy nooks, had stains on EVERY fabric service. When you refuse to sit down on anything for fear of catching something, it kills the vibe."

"I meant to write a review for my experience for NYE. Special thanks to the manager Lauren (I believe that’s her name). She made sure we had excellent service at their restaurant upstairs and after we went to rooftop bar party. My guest and I had a great time. As far as the rooms, they are a bit small, but that is the Moxy style. However, the hotel is nice overall."

"They were very hospitable. They give a free welcome bag and a free moxy drink which by the way tasted great. Nice views and I was able to see the monument from my room. Parking sucks but there is a parking garage 3 blocks down from the hotel that you have to pay for ($20-$30 per night) The hallways and rooms were small but this is to be expected in a crowded vicinity and populated area. The room is very inviting and enticing for couples and people going out on dates or just casual bar nights. It is family friendly too. Breakfast is very limited (didn’t find anything I liked in the menu) although coffee was complimentary for guests. Happy overall."

"Honestly, wow! I visited last week and let me tell you I was blown away. The check in process was quick and efficient and they upgraded my room. On top of that, they also provide you with a drink token for one free drink at the bar. The room was clean, new, and had everything I needed. The bed had a little chocolate on top as well, the note excused the small room but honestly it didn’t really matter. The bed was comfortable, the space was nice, I had no complaints. I will say the restaurant next door is a little pricey but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. I appreciated the complementary coffee, the drink, the upgrade, and the chocolate. It really is all in the small details. The next morning while waiting for my flight, I was also able to get some of the complimentary coffee and asked them to hold my bags. Then I relaxed in the lounge and also went to the library space they had on the second or third floor. The hotel also has a rooftop I didn’t get to go however. The ambiance is relaxed, creative and open. I love the casual vibe, the location is great and the other patrons were nice as well. I will be returning next time I am in DC."
