Courtyard by Marriott Washington, DC Dupont Circle

"Underwhelmed for a Marriott property. Small rooms. No dressers or closet. Floor was unlevel - my desk chair kept rolling towards the back of the room, the sliding shower glass door kept sliding open. I put a pen on the floor and it rolled to the back of the room. Shower water pressure OK. No cold water in the bathroom sink! Heard mediocre things about the breakfast downstairs so I opted for a great coffee shop a block away. Fitted sheet was on inside out. Sometimes the heat didn't work. I would not stay here again nor recommend it."

"I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the Courtyard Marriott Dupont Circle this past weekend. The hotel is very comfortable, centrally located and the staff was very accommodating, especially the man who was operating the bistro on Sunday night. He didn't give us his name or maybe I missed it, but he was so entertaining, made the whole experience fabulous!"

"Nice location. Rooms are decent. Part of minimalist experience no closet, drawers, iron( you need to request). We unfortunately were placed right behind elevator so not the most peaceful experience. First night had to get engineer in to fix tv and dead phone. At least one out of two got fixed… never had a working phone."

"This Courtyard by Marriott is on a lovely street in an excellent location. It is exceptionally convenient for me when I come to DC on business, and the superlative service by Richard has made my entire stay here fantastic. Richard goes above and beyond to connect with guests and be of service to them. I cannot think of a more professional, friendly, or genuine employee at any hotel I have ever stayed in. My only constructive comment is that my room does not have a traditional closet, only a small area to hang a few items of clothes, and there is no chest of drawers. I would have liked more storage for clothing, but the benefits far outweigh this one inconvenience."

"Richard checked me in and was very friendly and efficient. The beds were firm but soft and the room was very quite which was surprising for being in the city. great stay and staff is amazing from the guy emptying the trash to the female bartender. these people must like there jobs or be real good at faking it. I would stay again in a heartbeat"
