AC Hotel by Marriott Washington DC Downtown

"I'm a Marriott member and have been trying out hotels in the DC area. I usually stay at the Madison and have good experiences there, but wanted to try somewhere new. Although most of the staff here was gracious, whoever was cleaning in the lobby seemed irritated I had to get through to the front door. I tried to be out of her way as much as possible, but when coming back through she stopped cleaning and stared me down. This made me very uncomfortable. I was initially going to extend my stay, but after this, I decided to check-out and be on my way. This was a very bizarre experience and I won't be back."

"The hotel is nice. The rooms appear to be recently updated, new and clean. The food at the bar is really good too and reasonably priced. The reason for the deducted star is the valet parking scam at the front. We included it in our package - it ended up being 55 plus another 9 dollars tax so 64 dollars for them to park it in the cheap garage right across the street that you can park at yourself. This is incredibly disingenuous and left a bad taste in our mouths. Never again…"

"Awesome hotel. Our flight got in at 9am and we had nothing to do (I was being a little cheap not getting the night before) so we decided just to see if we could get an early check-in and they had us in the room able to rest by 10:30 AM. Super central location and great service at the counter and the bar. Wish I could name the gentleman who let us in so early but it was December 2nd around 10:30 AM at the front desk."

"In town for the March for Israel and booked last minute. Got in early and had checked in on the app the day before. At most Marriott properties, that works no problem. Unfortunately, it didn’t mean anything here. Property is nice and very well equipped for working remotely. Rooms have lots of outlets and the public areas have lots of comfy work surfaces!"
