"After a horrific experience at another hotel, I came here. I wish I would have booked here from the start. The staff are incredibly nice & professional. Everyone is so nice. It’s been refreshing. Morton’s Steakhouse is connected to the hotel. It’s great for business professionals & everyone is extremely nice to my service dog as well. The beds are comfortable & the room was spotless. I highly recommend this place."
"Completely unorganized. Got married this summer and we should have not only stayed at the Marriott but also not used Hyatt for wedding room blocks because they made it apparent they didn’t really deserve the easy business. Our rooms were changed 48 hours before the wedding, when we had 2 suites reserved. No one informed us as to why the change was made nor let us know that the change even occurred. We, by chance, saw an email that our reservations were updated. It was impossible to get in touch with anyone to help with the issue- was passed from person to person over the phone and it was beyond frustrating and nothing was solved for 45 minutes and we were told to call back in the morning. On our wedding night, we received a card from Hyatt staff with dessert, very kind, however- the envelope had our name on it but the card inside was wishing a totally different couple a congrats on their wedding. Complete lack of detail and true customer service. Based on how our stay was going we couldn’t help but laugh over it. We would have rather not received anything at all. Valet parking took 20+ minutes at times and the lobby always had a line of at least 5 people waiting each and every time. Check-in and check-out process extremely slow."
"Excellent location near restaurants and shops. Parking underground garage was a hassle as the elevators were out of service. The whole building has a 1990s feel to it. The rooms need an update. The king sized bed was comfortable, but the heater was too noisy and the comforter was not warm enough. The bathtub surface was peeling off."
"I've stayed at several Hyatt Regency locations and this one is far more on the average 3 star side. Rooms were ok, relatively clean and orderly. The hotel is dated - very late 80s/early 90s. Staff was friendly but there's no Globalist line. There's a Morton's Steakhouse on the property but it's not associated with the hotel so you can't charge to your room. There's a Starbucks on site which is nice but the Globalist breakfast consists of limited items (coffee, pastry, sandwich) from there. There was another restaurant there but it's only open on weekdays during business hours so that's not very convenient. No club or lounge for globalists which was disappointing. Location was great, however."
"Could have been a lot better. Little things count after a long day, and a lot of pretty basic things were missing. We came via train from the airport only to find the Hyatt entryway from the train closed, and covered with tape and cardboard, without so much as sign explaining where to walk to get in. Several marked entryways were actually staff or service entries and we literally walked around the block with a ton of luggage before finding our way in. Fix the elevator or at least put up a sign! Secondly, there was no room service. As the staff explained, the restaurant on site actually is unconnected to the Hyatt, the Starbucks rents space, closes at 8 and offers no in room service. So, no place to get a cup of tea or evening snack. Instead of notifying customers we only learned about this by going to the front desk to ask why no one was answering the room service button. When we came back to our room this evening we noticed that housekeeping had replaced towels but the wash cloths had disappeared, the batteries in the channel changer were worn out… on and on. Small stuff, but geez, guys. You can do better."
