"I had a meeting at the Congressional Country Club and then an event in Potomac... both were less than 10 minutes from this gorgeous place with truly remarkable hosts. Sharon was able to accommodate me and my dogs with zero notice (like literally 10 minutes) and was able to even allow me an early check in."

"This was a flawless experience, beginning with two excellent hosts, an awesome location, and a comfortable environment and accommodations. Our warm welcome kicked off a birthday celebration weekend that got better every day. It included wine time/happy hour on the property, a visit to the Glenstone Museum, and a host of really good restaurants nearby (that are only second to the The Oak's irresistible breakfast each day-- no kidding!). This was my first stay there, but it certainly won't be my last. I encourage anyone thinking about a get-away in the DC/Maryland area to highly consider staying at The Oaks. "This place is a beautiful gem! The gardens are so gorgeous and serene. The furnishings are luxurious and the bed was so comfortable that I could have slept in all day. "I recently stayed at The Oaks Bed and Breakfast for a women’s overnight retreat and my stay was wonderful!!! Sharon and Quentin were warm, welcoming, and hospitable. The flow of the evening from happy hour, to assisting w/ warming up our pizza for our slumber festivities, to all the individual accents in the rooms made this stay feel like home away from home. I stayed in the Riesling room and it was so cozy. We also all really enjoyed Quentin’s breakfast! It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in awhile! It was my first time at a bed and breakfast but it certainly won’t be my last!"
