"The location is amazing but that's where the good ends. My room was HOT when I arrived. They fixed the AC relatively quickly but still a disappointing situation for an expensive hotel. This place is basically just a Ramada. Also, be warned the amenities fee is not optional! Why have that listed separately instead of just including it in the price of the room? They need more transparency in their billing system and really need to train their staff better. When I questioned my bill I was told that was an "incidentals fee" and that someone from HQ customer service would call me back - but of course that didn't happen. I called again and spoke with the manager on duty who told me the amenities fee is actually $29.99 instead of the $25 a night fee listed on the website. She was argumentative, spoke OVER me, and just rude. This is not a "nice" hotel. Luckily my company paid for this terrible experience. I'll recommend to my company never to book this hotel again. Overpriced, poorly trained staff, disappointing amenities, abysmal rooms..."
"I went to this hotel with my wife to celebrate our anniversary and we are convinced that we made the BEST decision!!! Eskedar at the front desk was AMAZING with us! she was kind, responsive, knowledgeable, had fantastic suggestions for places to visit, and even prepared a fantastic surprise in the room for our anniversary. She definitely made our trip even better! We definitely recommend anyone to come to this hotel and if you do....PLEASE FIND ESKEDAR (the best host!!)"
"I truly enjoyed my stay here. We stayed for 6 nights. The room was immaculate, very spacious, and I loved our little balcony. From the outside and the lobby, you would never expect such a spacious and clean room. It's definitely the smallest lobby I ever encountered in a hotel, but I quickly overlooked it when I saw how much more care they put into their rooms. It's true when they say don't judge a book but it's cover. It was pretty convenient that their gym is open 24 hrs for those of us who like a night run on the treadmill. The service was also top-notch. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. My only gripe is the mirror light in the bathroom. It's not the greatest lighting to put on makeup."
"The room was nice and spacious, but there are issues with the hotel. First and foremost the rooms were very hot. At night it was very difficult to sleep. At first I just thought it was me, but my 28 YO son actually slept on top of the quilt, it was that hot. The thermostat said it was 68, but there was ZERO possibility it was 68 degrees in there. My other issue was the $25 A NIGHT amenity fee. The "amenities" I paid for? coffee (one bag per room brewed it a hot water kettle not an actual coffee maker) and tea, wifi and as many cocktails as we could guzzle in 30 min (not really sure it was unlimited as I never went to the bar). I would have to go pretty low in the hotel class to pay for coffee (Motel 6 maybe?). I feel like for $25 a night I should have had an actual coffee maker or something more convenient than one large coffee bag to make cups of coffee. It cost me $1000 for 3 nights with minimal sleep due to the temperature of the room. When I checked out I told them how hot the room was...the response "We will have someone check on that". I will never stay there again."
"Great front desk staff at all hours! Location allowed us to walk to quite a lot but they also were able to store our car in their garage across the street. Very prompt about bringing it around as needed. Very clean room, hallways, front area. Comfortable bed! Firefly is nice for breakfast if you want something very close by. We didn't eat any other meals there. We would stay here again!"
