"I stayed here over New Year's Eve weekend while visiting my daughter. I've waited a week to see if my thoughts on the hotel changed so that I can write something with more thought. Cons: The room smelled awful. It smelled like people have been smoking in there for years. The bathroom smelled the worst. When showering, the steam made the smell stronger. Upon checking in, the bathroom toilet was crusted in urine and was clogged. As if housekeeping did everything in the room, but the toilet. The pillows were like deflated beachballs. No life to them at all. The pool had rust spots and walls were slimy in some spots. There where never more than 3 pool towels by the pool, and we went right after the pool opened, mid day, and at night. Never more than 3 towels available. Pros: The location is great. Lots of food and things to do in the area. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Breakfast was quite good. Lots of options and good quality."

"This is a pretty good hotel. The rooms are good size with comfy beds. The pillows were a bit small and somewhat uncomfortable. The room was clean and bug free. One of the elevators was out of order during the stay. They have a nice breakfast assortment and a good breakfast area. There is a nice patio that looks over a pond in the back. They have a small gym with some dumbbells and some cardio machines. All in all a good stay at a decent price."

"The rooms were nicer/bigger than in DC but the downside was opening my eyes after washing my hair and realizing I was not alone. There was a cockroach on my shower curtain. Thank God we were leaving but the task of having to ensure not bringing them home was frustrating. I did not see evidence of infestation but that one was more than too much for me."

"I am a diamond choice privileges member. I have stayed in over 2000 hotels and motels. This is a very nice place for the price. The parking lot and rooms are well lighted, the staff is friendly and they have a decent breakfast. I would stay here again the next time I’m in the area. I did not see any bugs, and the place seems to be very sanitary."
