"It's an ok spot. The front desk isn't really warm or welcoming. Great central location, so I thought I'd give it a shot. My stylist was ok. I asked for 4N, ashy. It was on the warmer side. My scalp was on fire as the dye sat on my hair. I would've appreciated an ammonia-free option. Pricing isn't cheap, and I'm cool with it, as long as I get what I asked for. I would not return."
"Sarah did my hair with highlights for my first time at this store and she was amazing! My hair looks amazing and she is super nice and helpful!"
"Mostly great stylists. Had one bad cut but not the places fault. Front desk is not that warm and friendly. Maybe it’s a Rockville thing? Rates listed on website can be misleading, so ask for exact rate of stylist when scheduling. Facility is a typical salon, clean and modern."
"Brenda Tubbs was so helpful in letting me know how to manage and care for my hair. I love my hair cut. She is absolutely the best. I felt welcome by all staff. Great place. Thank you"
"I got a refund. Probably the worst haircut I’ve gotten in the last 10 years. I communicated my intentions and my hair structure clearly beforehand but it seems my stylist didn’t take that into consideration. In addition one side was much shorter than the other and the promised “hidden” layers are non existent. I’m beyond sad for choosing this salon. I’ll do my research next time and will choose a salon that matches me up with an experienced stylist for my hair type and structure, and that doesn’t blame me afterwards saying my hair structure is the problem. At least she didn’t use the thinning shears on my curls!! Otherwise I’d be really sad. My stylist definitely confident and friendly but not skilled at cutting my type of hair. As she tried fixing it 2 days later I lost all my trust and decided to leave. Hope in 3 month I can get it fixed."
