"I have been getting my hair styled by Laura for years. She is the best!! Every time I am at the salon, I comment to Laura about how wonderful it is to get my hair washed by someone else. Today, I had the BEST wash ever with Maria. She made my salon experience even better than usual. I want to go back tomorrow just to get my hair washed!!"
"Recently visited for the first time to get a hair cut- modern, very feminine, clean vibe! Loved the interior design, all the vertical glass and open space (none of the stylists are stuck behind walls or in their own cubicle). Haircut pricing was typical for Rockville area. The receptionist was very professional, polite, and helpful. Loved chatting with the lady who washed my hair, she seemed sweet. Stylist Jackie did my cut, she was professional, efficient, friendly, great conversationalist, asked the right questions, and gave me a ton of helpful tips on hair care. I got a layered cut of about 4", and LOVED how it turned out! Will definitely be back, highly recommend."
"Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience coloring my hair at this salon. My stylist was nice, but the color I got was not what I had asked for, and the top part of my hair has a different shade than the bottom. When I told her, she said it was due to the lights in the salon and claimed that the color was the same. The charge for a blow dry is separate, and if you don't pay it, you have to walk out with wet hair, which I have never seen in another salon! Additionally, at the end, I was charged for an extra bowl of color, and I don't know why. It was an overall color, and my hair is shoulder-length. Now I'm going elsewhere to get my hair fixed after already paying so much. I wish I had a better experience, considering all the reviews for this place."
"Diane Rhee did my hair and it was just the worst experience i have ever had, no offense but she’s a nice person, just don’t know how to cut hair. My boyfriend found this salon online and i tagged along since i needed a haircut anyway and that was the first time for both of us at 4&CO. His haircut turned out okay bc somebody else did it. I told Diane I just need it shorter and she asked if i need layers, i said yes. please just take a look at the first 2 pictures taken when my boyfriend propose to me. the layers looked like literal staircases and i even tried to even style it and didn’t work well. I was just so disappointed and cried for the first time in my life about a bad haircut bc it ruined one of the most important moments of my life and I hate looking at myself in the mirror. the third photo is taken at a salon in NYC before where I tried to fix it after that traumatic experience with Dianne. The hair stylist simply said whoever cut my hair DON’T KNOW HOW TO CUT hair and he could only fix the layers for it to look more natural by making the layers thinner. and now the layers looks way better than before but my hair feels very grassy, thin and lack of wavy texture, i hate touching and looking at it, but that’s the price i paid for after I had that haircut at 4&CO. I thought about leaving this review for a while bc i hate hurting people’s feelings, but i am crying and writing this at a hotel in NYC rn so wth, people deserve to know and a QUALIFIED hair stylist should know how to do basic haircut as well. the last 2 photos were taken a year ago when i got a haircut at another salon which I love but I moved to rockville so i wasn’t able to go. I was simply just shocked at how differently hair stylist can do their job."
"My first time there. Very clean salon. Front desk people are very friendly. Mariana( or Maria) who washed my hair was one of the sweetest person I’ve ever met. Everyone there is so nice and polite. Leila is amazing. The best of the best. She is a Senior stylist. I asked her for more highlights and changing my hair color, she politely refused it. Although she could have easily done and changed me a lot, but she believed that it wouldn’t come the way I wanted and my own color is very similar to whatever wanted. I can’t believe someone could have this much of work ethics. Finally I could find someone extremely talented and professional for my hair cut. Leila is really the best.”"
