"Common Deer is a cool, laid back, shop with lots of original things to gaze and buy. The owner was welcoming, and I could tell she loved to live in Burlington and have her own shop to share with the world. Just before I came in, my daughter had called me to tell me about a life event that made her upset and sad. I bought her some earrings that had a moon and stars, because I love her more the moon and stars. Common Deer was here at the perfect time (A little magic, I think). Come in because her shop is full of curious and wonderful things. And even if you do not buy, their smiles will make you happy along your journey."

"I had such a nice experience yesterday at Common Deer! They offered make and hand sanitizer at the door, which was very helpful. Was shopping for a family member and had so many perfect choices to choose from! I especially loved the kitchen tool handles and hand soap container made from local Vermont stones. So cool!!! As my daughter and I were checking out, we were able to get the gift wrapped in this really unique bag-like wrap. Just beautiful! "

"This is arguably the cutest store I've ever been in. I'm a New England local, so seeing the map with all of the artists they stocked and where they were from was beyond charming, and made me so proud to be able to support local makers. The staff were all very welcoming and knowledgeable about everything in the store, answering any questions that I had. I ended up with an amazing mug from a Burlington artisan, Rory Pots, that I think has instantly become my favorite. Stores like Common Deer are one of my favorite ways to shop local because I can support two local businesses at once!"
