"There is a wonderful petite blonde who is from Florida who works up front. She is a delight to talk to and she is very helpful. Someone should give her a raise"
"The lady at register 1 at 10 am on 11/22/23 handed half my groceries to the lady in front of me, and I didn't notice until she got away with some stuff. She ruined Thanksgiving because I'm disabled and she didn't pull her head out of her ***. This store often sells expired meat, and the produce sucks. Burlington really needs some better options."
"Prices are outrageous, staff are rude, non helpful, and only available, when you DO NOT need assistance. Every time I walk into Shaws, I immediately walk out, and go to Market 32. So far, the staff are great, people are kind, prices are decent, and it's a good time. Unfortunately, Shaws where I live, is not it."
"It seems based on some of the reviews I've read that I also had recently. I went into this Shaws to return an item I purchased that day that was not what I wanted. At the customer service counter, there was a sign that said that it was closed between 2-4pm. It was just before 4, so I waited until 4:15 until someone finally came by and asked if I needed help. I asked why no one was behind the counter and she said because they didn't have enough people working to staff it. I said then change the sign. She got rude and sarcastic with me, so I asked her for her name. She covered up her badge and refused to tell me who she was and called a manager. He said there was a sign there stating to come to one of the cashiers for help. I said there was no sign. Then he got mad and challenged me to go with him to look. We did. No sign. It was on the floor under the counter. Rather then admit he was wrong and even more wrong to assume the customer was wrong, he got even more defensive and tried to justify his mistake by attempting to put the blame on me. I pushed back on him and his response was to kick me out of the store as a number of other customers looked on in horror. This manager and the other employee failed badly. I've worked in retail including grocery stores before and you never, ever behave this way. Especially when the employee is wrong. These two people made a terrible impression on me and on those watching. I can assure you they will lose business from this incident."
"Overall pleasant experience visiting this location which is pretty consistent with my other experiences at other shows locations across from mine. Friendly staff and clean store and Apple stock how to make this a stress-free and one stop shop for supermarkets."
