Skirack

"Called the store and asked about ski rentals, guy on the phone asked my age height and weight. Then he told me to come in and they possibly would have skis that fit me. Drove all the way downtown and was greeted by a worker who didn’t know the difference between alpine and Nordic skiing. He then proceeded to take me to all different levels of the store because he was unsure where ski rentals even were. Then we were met by an older man who immediately asked my age and told me I couldn’t rent skis and was extremely dismissive. I then explained that we called already and informed the worker on my age, hight, and weight and was told they would be able to service me. He then continued to make excuses as to why I was not able to rent due to my age and ability, and did not apologize for wasting my time and gas. Clearly this store is only intended to make money and does not care at all about their customers. Clearly the response my experience shows how this store only cares for their image. They neglected to mention the person on the phone said to come in regardless of age, there was a mistake on the phone that was corrected, and we were still told to come in. The first person that attempted to help us at the store also had no knowledge of skiing, then we were met by someone who was as experienced as described. Terrible experience and poor response."

"Staff are super helpful and have deep product knowledge. The store has all the things...Nordic & Alpine Skiing, Road and Mountain Biking. Gear for kids even! Will be heading back soon when I have more time to shop."

We checked another competitor first but they didn't seem very interested in helping us out and showing us their inventory, so we just walked over to SkiRack and we're glad we did. The staff is very friendly and answered all our questions so we made a reservation for 2 days later. When we picked up our bikes everyone was very helpful and personable, helping us adjust our bikes and giving us recommendations and advice regarding the bike path.
