"This was another childhood memory & an amazingly quaint place, a true gem of oceanside options in Wells, ME.. A must for any family or couple seeking a beautiful trip & only takes approximately 5.5 hours by vehicle, too much longer by bus or train to be honest, topping in around 24 hours with multiple spots. You won't regret it I can promise you that...."

"Everything was delicious. Fried haddock sandwich, fried clam and scallop box, and three kids meals. Everyone loves the fries. Seafood was perfectly cooked. Coleslaw was the perfect compliment. The blueberry cornbread was just a mushed pile of crumbs but that's now what we were there for! The decor was also nice and didn't feel like a ramshackle old clam shack (and I'm a coastal New Englander!). It was modern, fresh and bright with a nice outside patio surrounded by a maintained garden. Can't wait to go back again next year!"

"Dave's place is always clean, when he and his wife are around there always pleasant, they let you use their kayaks. There's a fire pit and also a grill!! Plenty of room to hang towels, bathing suits, etc. Reasonable rates."
