"Stayed here with Capital Vacations. $100+ cleaning fee is a little outrageous. It wasn't clear who was charging for that. capital or Nautical Mile. As we were about to check in.(3pm) They man was leaving for the day. 5 minutes early Good thing we came 5 min early instead of 3 on the dot or else we would of spent the night in the car. Seemed like Capital Vacations and Nautical Mile didn't communicate clearly to each other"

"Nice property! We stayed there at the end of tourist season so it's a lot more quiet which I liked. All the staff we met were really kind. It really is a beautiful place to stay. The town itself was super cute!"

"Have been going to and staying here for years and overall, it's a good 3-star place to stay. With Congdon's Donuts next door along with a bunch of food trucks, it has coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and options for dinner within walking distance. The staff said there were shortages this year that prevented any type of housekeeping services (the guy kept wanting us to go pick up fresh towels at the front desk) but like others, I requested on two different days that old towels be picked up and the trash removed and no one ever showed up. I understand staff shortages, but the Nautical Mile should be more proactive in looking for other solutions, like contracting with a professional housekeeping service to service the rooms once a week at a minimum during each stay. To not do so is cheap and housekeeping services are included in the cost of the rental, so they did not deliver and pocketed the difference, which annoys me. On a more positive note, the location of the Nautical Mile is close to CVS and Walgreens pharmacies, a grocery store, and you can be in Ogunquit or Kennebunk within 15-20 minutes depending on traffic on Route 1. There's a pool on site with a hot tub, shuffle board, and it's a safe place to stay. So many good places to eat that are within a 10-15 min drive - Spinnakers, Big Daddy's Ice Cream, Food for Thought."

"Great service accompanied by a beautiful room. Both me and my girlfriend stayed at Nautical Mile for a small weekend get away and couldn't have been more pleased. All of the workers who I spoke with were kind and well mannered. Even the off site gym was a lovely experience. Would travel here again!"

"Nautical Mile Resort is my favorite place to stay in Southern Maine. It is so clean, friendly, accommodating, quiet, we absolutely love staying there. The rooms are not really rooms, they are tiny apartments, complete with small kitchen/living rooms that sparkle they are so clean, and are completely outfitted with every appliance you will need. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are very clean and have a full bath. We have stayed there three times and been happy every time. The Nautical Mile Resort sits far enough back from the road that you never hear any traffic, but you are close enough to the wonderful variety of restaurants, should you desire a wonderful fish dinner."
