"Carolee “Clee” Duncan I post this review mainly to advise viewers for simple precautions in dealing with Carolee “Clee” Duncan. Our experience with Clee has led us sadly to say that she lacks integrity, grace and loyalty in operating her rental business in Maine. First, Clee misrepresents her credentials. She claims that she’s “the broker of Snow Pond Realty. My husband and I work with our attorney to file a disciplinary grievance against her. Our home is in Philadelphia, and is not convenient to travel up Maine to sue Clee in court; we and our attorney thought to report her to the Real Estate Commission for her unprofessional ethics. Second, Clee is unprofessional and dishonest. She broke our leasing contract without our knowledge and kept our deposit. Good communication should be top priority by keeping everyone informed of all significate developments. In this age of email and text, there simply is no excuse for not keeping all parties informed. 1. We had deposit on house for one week in August with lease signed. She voided agreement when she served a more attractive monthly rental without our consent. 2. We had a deposit on house with lease scheduled for the month of July which she rented to another party without amending the agreement and chose not to return our deposit. Since she ignored our emails, we telephoned her, questioned her, challenged her, she hung up the phone on us, and on our attorney as well! Third, Clee is manipulative. To be frank, there are absolutely no guarantees of your contract and deposit in dealing with Clee. We thought once both parties signed the agreement, we proceed with utmost good faith, fidelity and loyalty, but sadly that’s not the case here. Clee manipulates contract and clients to her own monetary benefits. Our experience with her has shown that she is all about what is best for her, the lessor, and not about her clients, the lessees."
