"So here goes…I have not been to Boesbuck in like 40 yrs. Yes it has likely changed a bit and am assuming there are new owners, maybe several times over by now. This place is special in so many ways, from the moose swimming in the lake to the large (to me at 14 yrs) rainbow I caught. The best though was being with my Dad, sleeping in the cozy cabins, eating the great food and just being with my Dad in Maine. He loved the outdoors as do I and it is a memory I will take to the end as I miss my Dad so. I wish I could take my Dad to Boesbuck one las time."
"Where do I even begin!!?? I would like to first mention Wendy and Mike. They are both great people who really add to a great experience at Bosebuck. My father, Bill, has taken me up there twice the past few years when I visit. If you are a fisherman or hunter, Bosebuck is like the Valhalla. My father and I are fly fishermen and this part of Maine is perfect for it. Bosebuck cabins are extremely clean and also have their own showers and toilets. The restaurant is also excellent. I could ramble all day about how great this place is but you really must try this place. If you want to disconnect from the city or just need to reconnect with nature, Bosebuck Mountain Camps is the perfect place to do it. And a big thanks to Wendy for always being so awesome!!!!"
"We always enjoy our stay thanks to Wendy and Dave who provide great food and friendly hospitality. We are keen fisherman but we love the wilderness and meeting the other guests. We always have great wildlife encounters whether it's with moose, fishers, Canada lynx, or bald eagles. This is a beautiful, restful spot and we look forward to going back next year"
"This place is a great little gem in the western Maine mountains. My riding group and I visited here about 10 times over this past snowmobile season. Mike and Wendy are very accommodating. We often stopped here for breakfast. It is a top notch breakfast and very reasonably priced. The hash is a must have and dont try to order 2 pancakes or Wendy will challenge your appetite, the pancakes are huge. We also gas up here regularly and the fuel service is top notch as well. One night we even made dinner reservations and had an amazing prime rib dinner that was one of the best meals I have had in the area. Dont miss out on this great snowmobile destination."
"Very good food. You really have to know where you are going. They are building some beautiful cabins and had a great view. We only had lunch, but had more to eat than you can imagine for the money. Would definitely recommend this place for meals. Call 2 weeks early if you want to have an evening meal."
