Kelly's Landing

"We ate at Kelly’s Landing on our first full day in Greenville. The view of the lake from our window was awesome, and the food was delicious! It was our first time to try poutine, and we were not disappointed! My husband had the NY Grilled Cheese, which he loved! I had the Reuben, and it was wonderful. We enjoyed feeding the seagulls our left over fries, and they did, too! We did not stay at Kelly’s Landing, so I can’t speak for the rooms."

"Our waitress was not friendly or patient. She brought 5 waters for 8 people. One person mentioned coffee and she just brought him coffee vs asking the other end of the table if they wanted any. We received an entree with hair in it. When we showed it to the waitress, she said usually she has an eye for that. Makes me wonder if it happens often and she just removes it before serving? I really hope not."

"Absolutely wonderful place to go. Food is hands down delicious! From breakfast to dinner and everything in between its a great and amazing experience from start to finish. Weather you are lodging or stuffing your face- the experience you will have will be like no other! Guaranteed if you are a resident or in town visiting or just passing through you will be back for the Kelly's experience at least one more time. I know I surely will be."

"Visited Kelly's Landing for lunch on a Friday and unfortunately, our experience was subpar. We were seated at an unfavorable table that was located in a high-traffic area, making the dining experience less enjoyable. Disturbingly, we could overhear servers making inappropriate and rude comments about patrons, which was off-putting. The food didn't fare much better. Our burgers were dry, and mine was completely charred on the outside. It also had a texture suggesting it might have been previously frozen. The regular fries came in a disappointingly small portion and tasted like they weren't fresh. On the other hand, the sweet potato fries were generously served. The coleslaw, though seemingly fresh, lacked flavor, tasting like it was hastily prepared with plain mayonnaise. Additionally, the servers frequently yelled "Corner" loud enough for the entire dining room to hear, which disrupted the ambiance. Due to our table's location, the floor noticeably wobbled whenever servers passed by, giving the unsettling sensation of being on a boat. While we hoped for a pleasant lunch outing, our experience at Kelly's Landing was marred by multiple issues. We hope these concerns are addressed for future patrons."

"We stopped for lunch at Kelly's Landing, on the way back from a family trip. We wanted one more meal together with a view and decided this was the place to go. The view 10/10. The service 8/10. The food 6/10. What really brought this place down was the wait time to get our meals. Although we had a large party, 6 adults and 3 kids, it took over an HOUR to get our food after we ordered! This was on a regular Monday, with only a few tables seated before us. We ordered sandwiches, burgers, and chicken tenders (for the kiddos.) All pretty basic stuff. And since none of it tasted above average, it was not worth the long wait. They seemed to fill up pretty quickly as the afternoon went on, so maybe I'm missing something...but overall, stop by for the view and be on your way."
