Reviews
"Gorgeous! A first-rate venue. The forest was not recently logged, so it had the look of a mature NE woodland. Many mature white pines, mixed hardwoods and fir, and some beautiful cedar stands. The xc skiing trails are very nice. We highly, highly recommend."
"Employees Mike and Evan will take care of any of your bicycle related needs while in the Sugarloaf area."
"Was there to observe the Carrabasset bike race, so fun, hard trails for the riders, son loved it"
"Thank you Levi for helping get set up for a classic cross county ski. The center is spacious, plenty of seating, and the rental shop has modern equipment that worked well for us. The trails were well maintained and marked. There on a Thursday and felt like we had the place to ourselves. In addition to classic cross county skiing, they had skate ski, ice skating, snowshoeing, and fat tire mtn bikes for rent. So many great options, we could have stayed longer and kept have outdoor fun in Maine!"
"This place is terrific. During the summer they have extensive trails for hiking and riding bikes. The have a small course right at the lodge with a pump track and other obstacles to practice and hone your biking skills. My son rode a 25 mile course with his friends yesterday. They all loved it and said that it can be as easy or challenging as you want to make it. Allspeed bike shop is there during the summer to fix your bike, rent bikes or sell you a bike; essentially cover all your biking needs. The lodge is owned by the city but maintained by Sugarloaf. This Summer they asked a small hot dog/sausage cart to bring food to the lodge for the summer since there hasn't been any in the past. The service and food was great. Come winter this location becomes a cross country ski, snow shoe and ice skating area. This is a great place to come and bike, hike or just enjoy nature. We will definitely come back and encourage others to do so as well. Note about the Google directions: if you are come from Sugarloaf it will be on your right about a half mile before Google maps shows it and on your left a half mile if coming from the other direction. The coordinates are 45.0779168, -70.2959196. If this review helped please hit the like button."
