"A group of my friends booked a white water rafting trip with Three Rivers for the Dead River release on Labor Day weekend. We had the most amazing time start to finish. We camped at a beautiful site right on the Kennebec River at the Three Rivers campground. The hospitality was wonderful and we really felt like part of the family. As for the rafting, it was the funnest time of my life. Our guide Fletch was amazing and was able to quickly gauge our ability and sense of adventure and was able to give us exactly the challenge we asked for while maintaining safety. If you’re looking for a wild trip ask for Fletch! The lunch at the end of the day was fantastic and was just what we needed! Thanks to Three Rivers for the time of our lives!"

"I will only go rafting with Three Rivers Whitewater from now on! 8 of us went together in one raft with our guide, River. River was amazing - he told us clearly what to do, we did it, and he encouraged us the whole way. He was good at reading our group dynamics and keeping things fun for us, teaching us as we went along, answering my hundreds of questions I had (he was also very patient). We met most of the other guides there too, and they were ALL super friendly, inviting, fun, and kind. They all knew what they were doing and I would trust any of them to keep us safe. We had a great day at the high water release on the Kennebec September 23rd and successfully conquered Maytag! Campsites were great too."

"I had such an exhilarating, fun day whitewater rafting with Three Rivers, that I booked the following day to do it again! Both trips were awesome, but the first day, our guide, Haley L., really stood out. Her enthusiasm, knowledge about the River and the rapids and skill navigating our boat were amazing! Her excitement was contagious and her ability to pass on her knowledge and communicate what we needed to do was exceptional. The bond and team she fostered amongst strangers continued after our rafting with a luncheon and slideshow at the Bar/Restaurant. Good food and drink wrapped up a wonderful experience in all facets at Three Rivers! The cabin we stayed in was clean, rustic and just a short walk to the river complete with a BBQ, frig, fire pit and slept 8 at a very reasonable cost. Add to that a thorough safety briefing, a shop for anything you might need, great staff and restaurant/bar and don't think you'll find a better place to raft! My next rafting trip will be at Three Rivers and the other rivers they explore!! Go there and have a blast!!"

"My son, his pal, and I did our first white water rafting trip with Danielle from Three Rivers Whitewater. It was an awesome trip. Danielle was knowledgeable, entertaining, and a great guide. The location is easy to find and the lunch was delicious. Although other services feed you on the river, finishing the trip and making our way back to Three Rivers base camp was perfect as we could change and clean up and have a very leisurely lunch. We will definitely raft with them again and look forward to a fun trip on the Dead and the Penobscot."
