"Had the pleasure of visiting this property for a second time, greeted by the owner upon check in. The rooms are renovated nicely for the historic aspect, and their care for the property shows in the smallest ways, even with boot trays provided in room. The Tavern is wonderfully decorated and plenty toasty with a cozy fireplace, with an easy short walk upstairs to the rooms yet no noise or disturbances like some other in-house bar establishments. Sometimes great hospitality simply comes down to how to improve on an originally less-than-perfect experience... which was certainly the case with this stay. Pleasant staff, close to town, and a beautifully renovated king suite made the night enjoyable. A pleasant surprise to see an electric fireplace in room which aided greatly to dry out wet/cold gear. Will certainly be returning and recommend any historic yet beautiful hospitality seekers make the trip. A picture perfect Inn on a snowy night."

"My wife and I stayed here for the first time 9/29-10/1 to celebrate our anniversary. We loved it! The woman at the front desk Friday & Saturday night was so nice. The historic building was very cool and we enjoyed our renovated room. The location was perfect for walking downtown to see the lake and get drinks/dinner. We also had dinner at the Tavern - delicious! Great hikes in the area and we loved driving around on all the scenic roads. Hoping to come back this winter to ski at Saddleback! Thank you!"

"We stayed at the Rangeley Inn for 5 nights. We filled each day with hiking and photography. The Inn has a great location, central to all the activities we like. BEST - dinner at the Rangeley Inn was a great way to finish off the day. No driving around looking for a place to eat. Food and wine were good."
