"Local Vacasa office. They do not answer their phone and no way to contact them. Unit was advertised as having wifi through a router but there is only a Verizon hotspot that will not connect."

"My friend and I arrived at our Moosehead Lake rental and it was very clear that it had not been cleaned other than new sheets on the beds and clean towels. There were (live) spider webs in multiple corners, large amounts of dust and dirt under each of the 3 beds (as well as a plastic water bottle under 1), and worst....mouse droppings on the kitchen counters and in cabinets! Vacasa basically said we'll approve a refund and our customer service agent can help google another place for you to stay. Customer service never called me back and we were on our own to find another place to stay in an almost fully booked town at 6pm at night."

"We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck with great views all day long. The proximity to the best fly fishing was great too. Next time we plan on bringing our sea kayaks as the waves were abit much for canoeing. Would love to return next year."

"We have been renting with Northwoods Camp Rentals for many years now. They have been great! The properties are accurately described and our experience has been that, if ever there is a problem, they contact the owners immediately. If you look at the hundreds of reviews on their web site, you will see that they get consistently high marks. We have been happy working with them and we love Moosehead Lake!"

"The experience was Northwoods Camp Rentals was quite disappointing. We rented property #202 which listed that it included direct tv as an amenity. The direct tv receiver didn't even power on; we troubleshooted an all. It was simply broken. We wouldn't have rented the cabin without access to cable. We spent 4 nights without it. We told Northwoods about the issue the first night. There was no immediate action they could take of course which was understandable. We requested a courtesy credit as we were incredibly disappointed and received no credit to offset our inconvenience. Also, they charge an accidental damage coverage fee of $49 which we requested to be waived. They did waive the fee as I asked prior to booking. In general, it seems incredibly unreasonable to your customers/renters to charge an upfront fee if no damage was caused. I only received a refund, because I asked prior to booking. So renters are to pay for property they haven't damaged??? This specific location was not the most convenient for snowmobilers. You had to take a couple of side streets prior to taking a trail in the woods that connect to an ITS trail. We actually wouldn't have known how to access it if it hadn't been for a friendly neighbor walking her dog. It's about 20 minutes from gas in Greenville as well. Lastly, property #202 was new, udpated, and spacious, but the tub didn't actually fill with water as the stop seemed to be broken. So listed a "full bath" as an amenity also was misleading since you couldn't actually take a bath. And, there were flies everywhere in the home."
