I would definitely definitely definitely would stay here again!!!! The room was clean and the kitchen had everything I needed. The lodge is cozy. The other travelers there were just as nice. "Rosewood lodging was an absolutely incredible living experience! Finding affordable housing of any kind in Maine has been very difficult for the past three years, but Rosewood has been the utmost miracle. Spacious rooms with a half-bath, clean and always-available showers, w/d, a fully-stocked kitchen — all utilities included at a very affordable price!! Also, you can control the heat in your room, so the temp is always perfect. (Seems like a little thing, but it was honestly such a game changer to feeling comfy!) It’s everything you need to feel at home, and the beautiful nature around the lodge is everything you need to feel like you’re on vacation. Plus, you can reach the three main cities (Gardiner, Hallowell, Augusta) within 10-20 minutes. And while I cannot glow enough about the premises, there’s an extra special gift of the friendly tenants that also live there, and especially Nick and Pam themselves!! They work very hard to make sure everyone feels safe and have everything they need. They are truly the kindest people, and their warmth and welcome is nothing short of magic. I’ll be keeping the conversations and companionship that came from Rosewood with me for a long time. I feel like everyone looked out for each other in little ways, and I’m really going to miss the people I met there. I wish Nick and Pam only the very best, and I promise anyone considering staying here — Rosewood IS the very best. :)"

"Rosewood Lodge is a magical place. I have stayed for a year while working part-time and attending an online class. Pam and Nick are friendly and attentive landlords. The facility is neat and tidy, warm and inviting, and the kitchen has everything one would need. The friendships that I have made here at the lodge will exist after I leave. The other tenants have been multi-faceted and kind individuals from all over the world. Rosewood is more than lodge. It's a Home. Though I am excited for my next life adventure, I am truly sad to leave. One of the best experiences ever."

"This is a great place to stay! I was there for about a year and was very comfortable. Nick and Pam are great hosts; responsive if there's an issue and great conversation. The kitchen has all the pans and tools you'll need and there's plenty of storage for your food. The other housemates I met were also wonderful people."

"I am a travel nurse and looking for housing while in another state is always a bit scary. I spoke to the owner via phone and he offered a video chat tour if I would like. Having possibly 9 other house mates made me a bit nervous, but I will say that it was definitely the best choice I could have made. My room with a little bathroom area was perfect for the short time I would be there. Very large kitchen, W/D, great organization and storage spaces for each guest, several showers, and the kindest owners one could hope for. Never had any issue with noise or waiting my turn for a shower or use of the kitchen. Even with a full house! For the nursing perspective, housing in Maine is very limited unless youre willing to pay a massive rent. This quaint hidden little lodge is within 35 minutes to many different hospitals in any direction. This hidden gem is truly a great find for your short term stay whether youre a healthcare worker or anyone in between!! Pam and Nick have truly made a very cozy place here for people."
