"I never write bad reviews to owners, usually I sent polite messages to fix a situation. We rented one of its long term apartment. There was a dishwasher in the last 4 months of our stay roughly that didn't work but were not replaced. In respect to the place, I tried to clean it before the last day. The only thing I could not get into last minute was cleaning the oven. I received a very inappropriate message from the manager about the toilet, which whatever was not perfectly clean should have been communicated to me in a respectful manner. I called the owner Mia several times, emailed about our deposit, and it would be understandable if cleaning fee and whatever is necessary to be deducted in our deposit...but never all these years have we been reimbursed. We complained to the Renters Board in Maine but owner was ignoring the Board's plea. It's not the money, it's the integrity doing business. Hope this review would enlighten the situation and help other renters too."

"This was a lovely place to stay. It seemed recently remodeled. Stayed in The Owens. Couch and bed were comfy. There were a few quirks like no good handle on the pocket door to the bathroom, and a missing trashcan, and a few kitchen things missing that we needed, but the owner was quick to bring the missing things after I contacted her."
