"I recently visited a ski resort that, regrettably, has significantly deteriorated from its once esteemed status. The entire establishment appears trapped in a bygone era, with rooms that sorely lack modernity or comfort. The decor and furnishings seem as though they haven't been updated for decades, contributing to an overall sense of neglect and dilapidation. Even more disappointing was the level of service encountered during my stay. The staff exhibited a level of indifference that was both surprising and unwelcome. Interactions ranged from barely courteous to overtly dismissive, creating an atmosphere that was far from the hospitable and friendly environment one would expect at a premium ski resort. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in a place that presumably prides itself on providing a memorable skiing experience. For those considering a visit, I would recommend exploring other options. The current state of the resort, coupled with the lackluster service, hardly justifies the expense or the anticipation."
"What a wonderful staff! We had a VERY rough start to our first morning skiing (Logistically getting to ski school etc. because you need to take a shuttle from the hotel to ski school if your kids can't do long runs yet. Otherwise you can ski to the main base area.). I never complained to any of the staff directly - but I think they could see I was VERY frustrated. They took it upon themselves to call another shuttle for us AND they also surprised us with a cute little tent set up in our room for our daughter PLUS a bottle of wine for us. It was amazing how they just noticed we were having a hard morning and made up for it. Also, they valet for free - so always do that if it is busy and the lots are full!"
"Staff here was friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable. Breakfast buffet in the morning had numerous delicious options. Heated pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. This is a ski in ski out hotel."
"I’ve stayed here many times and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately the hotel is currently under major construction and the whole place is a disaster except for the wonderful staff that work here. I honestly feel badly for these folks for having to put up with this. There is literally no lobby. The check-in area is in a hallway. The restaurant closed to more orders at 6:30p because they were overwhelmed. The bathrooms seem to be all out of order and the building is surrounded by smelly disgusting restroom trailers (also out of order). When we booked, the agent said nothing about any of this and 2 small studio rooms cost $800. This all would have been excusable if they had been forthright and honest when we booked however, they were not. Between lodging, tix, and food … this one night & one day of skiing for 4 ended up costing well over $2,000. Disappointing on all levels."
"We stayed December 8-10. The hotel is under major construction. I would not stay here until it is finished. It feels out dated and messy right now for the expensive price. The only elevator open is far from everything and very slow. The main restaurant isn’t open and so for breakfast it’s frozen breakfast sandwiches not a great vibe. The front desk doesn’t even have water bottles to buy. The pool is nice but very very dark at night. They need more lights out there. Might be better when the construction is over I’m not sure."
