Motel 6 Albany, NY - Airport

"This place is only to be used by people who have what is assumed to be born here in the whole country hope, safety etc.you ought to move. But, the workers like long visits you must bring your own cleaning supplies and clean the place yourself good. You must work and you must bring high density ear plugs. If you want more quiet and more silence and less drama you should try days inn which is often times cheaper if you use the online booking and motel 6 has an app they want you to use."

"Front desk was great. Room was ok except could have been cleaned better. Don't expect to get any sleep if your room is down at the end since the people who reside permanently are up all night, in and out of their rooms and walking all over while you hear every conversation. Wouldn't stay here again."

"We were going down to visit family in catskill region and booked a room here for one night for myself, my husband and our two kids and our dog. Arrived and parked, seconds later a police officer pulled in. Apparently some dispute between neighbors because a woman took him down to her room and the room next door came out and they started talking loudly. My husband went to see if we could check in early and they said no, 2pm. So we took our dog for a walk in the parking lot because it’s been a 4 hour drive, and we were going to go get some drinks for the kids. While walking my dog in the parking lot we realized this place had some clientele that appeared less than savory. Whatever, but then a few moments later while near a parked car I looked down at what my dog was sniffing and it was a bag of heroin! Hard drugs in the parking lot!!! Seriously? No way I’m letting my kids stay in this kind of place! So I emailed to tell them we would not be staying there and of course they won’t refund for the service we did not receive because we did not feel safe to stay there with two children. Don’t stay there!!! Stay far far away…. Booking was under a different name, husband is just terrible at doing reviews."

"Well when it comes to cleanness it deserves a 0. When I checked in my 1st room, I went to have a look in the bathroom it was nasty as hell. The toilet had urine on it, the inside of the toilet looks as if hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. The tub still had a ring of dirt in it. Shower curtain was just as bad like it hasn’t been changed in weeks as well. Black marks at the bottom of the shower curtain. Soap mildew all on the shower curtain and the floor hasn’t been swept either. Now the beds, first of all the mattress didn’t even have a mattress protector on them. Brown spots on the sheets, only 2 pillows per bed. Dead bugs on the floor. When I called they told me housekeeping were gone home and they would refund me 100% of my money back and I agreed. Less than 5 minutes later, they had a cancellation. That room wasn’t no better, pretty much the same as the 1st room. Neither room had no coffee maker in them. For the money I paid I didn’t expect them to have the same status as a 4 star hotel. Due to Covid you would think the cleanness will be on top. I wind up cutting my vacation short due my son catching Covid. They won’t have to worry about me ever making reservations or referring anyone there. Well you get what you pay for. Be cautious when making reservations there."
