One of the upcoming performances is set in the Deep South in 1948, just before the civil rights movement. The story follows the relationship between a wealthy Jewish widow, Daisy Werthan, and her African American chauffeur, Hoke. Despite their initial differences and prejudices, the two characters form a close bond over the course of twenty-five years.
The theater is supported by a dedicated team of Trustees at Large, including Barbara Davis, Amanda Brinke-Dorman, David Quinones, Nathaniel Beynon, Erin Zielinski, and Kathleen Keene.
