"We stayed in one of the newly renovated beach front suites on the second floor. Spacious deck with full view of the ocean, nicely decorated and high end finishes. It was one of the best rooms we've rented in over 25 years of the Jersey shore. Can't wait to go back in the summer. Access to pool and the Rusty nail with it's outdoor beach and fire pits make it feel like a resort."
"I would give Sierra at the front desk a 10 star. She walked me through the booking recommending a room that was perfect for our stay. Sierra was also on site for our check in and I am fairly certain facilitated our late checkout intuitively knowing we were on our anniversary. The room was clean and very nice, mattress was firm and the sheets were comfortable. Excellent location to be able to view both the sunset and sunrise over the water from the balcony or across the street on the beach. The Rusty Nail was convenient for a drink and pub fare while watching the Phils. Sierra, thanks for all your help, you will do well wherever you pursue for your future. Lizzette and Pete"
"This is a tough one, I want to give it 3.5 stars. I will start with the pros: Great hotel staff. They're very friendly and accommodating. We even left behind a small USB cable, and they texted us and mailed it within a few days. Most things left behind are just gone. That is pretty darn good service. It's nice how they take care of you at the pool and beach as well, putting out chairs and umbrellas and towels. It definitely gives you a resort feel. The rooms were clean and modern. The bunk beds were great for kids. The beach is easy to access, although for the price you pay, you would expect a beach front hotel. Also, I noticed there weren't bugs or cobwebs everywhere. I'm very observant when it comes to cleanliness, and I will say they do an outstanding job maintaining the property and keeping it clean. Cons: It is really expensive. It essentially is a motel... all rooms have outdoor access. It is advertised as a family friendly place... and there were tons of families there. However, they play very, very loud music until 12am. We had 3 sound machines going, and we still couldn't sleep. The adjoining restaurant, Rusty Nail... was terrible, in my opinion. Our breakfast was 60 dollars. Our dinner was $170. This isn't 5 star dining here. In the morning, I just wanted a coffee, and my husband wanted tea... it was 10 dollars. That's insane to me. Everything is just insanely overpriced. But when you have 3 kids, you want the convenience of eating close by.. so I guess that's where they get you. There is no elevator, so keep this in mind with your bags and traveling with children. However, the staff will help you carry up your bags - again, wonderful service. I originally was upset about not being on the 1st floor... but I'm glad now because the music would have been that much louder. I don't know if we would go back, mainly because of the cost... $1200 for 2 nights in September. I can't justify spending that when the whole family is up until midnight listening to live music right outside the door."
"I was a little skeptical when I was handed a key on a ring…a real 80’s vibe. Then I found out there was no elevator and my bad back had to go to the 3rd floor. BUT it turned out to be a fabulous experience! Ricardo carried my luggage and there was free valet parking. No need to bring beach chairs, umbrella, or even a beach towel…. It is complimentary and they set it all up. They will even bring drinks and lunch from the menu that is used at the nice pool. The room had everything we needed and room service text us to ask if we needed anything like more coffee pods or towels. It was a great place to stay… near the beach and about 5 blocks from Washington Mall. Plus the Rusty Nail is steps away and we got a delicious dinner there. I hope to stay there again!"
"Absolutely great hotel. Super clean rooms and just clean around entire hotel, in general. Incredibly attentive staff and super responsive on text. Great pool and beach service. All super casual and comfortable. Will definitely recommend and will definitely go again. Definitely pricey but everything was executed so well I felt it was worth it in the end. Everything was just so convenient for our family beach vacation."
