"I have read many poor reviews, but I really would like to share our experience which is not bad at all. My husband and I have been living here for about a year now and Daniel helped us find the house. Yes, it's true the houses are dated, but whenever we called with a problem Pike was always available and professional. Enrique and Ronain have always responded promptly in case of emergency and not for any problem and Gianna is always helpful and kind on the phone. The thing I like most is the possibility of using the app to pay the rent and ask for maintenance. Overall honestly we are very satisfied with the place !"

"**HOW TO GET DEPOSIT BACK** Like many others who rented with Pike, I had issues receiving my deposit. If you do not receive your deposit in 30 days (or a reason from Pike as to why you are ineligible to receive your deposit such as damaging the apartment) google “demand of deposit” letter. Use one of the formatted letters you find to generate your own, go to the post office and send it *certified mail* so that you receive a tracking number. This is an important step that needs to be taken if you need to move forward with small claims court. Immediately upon receipt of my demand of deposit letter they released my deposit. If they do not return your deposit within 10 days of receipt of that letter, you can go to small claims court and file a claim. If they do not return the deposit within 30 days you are also eligible for double your deposit. I loved the apartment I rented from Pike, they have many lovely and affordable options, but please don’t let them bamboozle you out of your money for lack of effort/knowledge of deposit return process."

"Please avoid moving into any Pike International buildings if possible. I’ve been here for the last 1.5 years and the only reason I’ve stayed is inflation. If not, I would have been LONG GONE. They are extremely unprofessional, maintenance never completes the job right the first time, good luck trying to get in contact with staff, horrible customer service, there’s always something broken or wrong in the building, and this week they shut the water off in the building and notified no one, I could go on.. Whenever maintenance decides to show up, they always leave a huge mess, leaves garbage, and will often leave doors unlocked (which is terrifying because I live in the downtown area with homeless people that will wonder in or steal things). For the last year the ceiling in my bathroom leaks. It took them TWO MONTHS to respond to me and “fix it”. I lived with mold growing in my bathroom for two months, then they denied my request for a concession even though it destroyed my personal property. (Picture 2, 3 & 5 are from three separate leaking incidents.) The ONLY saving grace Pike has to redeem itself is the office receptionist, Esther Gonzalez. She’s the only one who bothers to contact tenants back, which means she ends up receiving the brunt of the heat for her coworkers mistakes. She’s the only reason I haven’t packed up my things and left. Pike international… may god have mercy on your soul."
