Aspen Glen

"The apartment community looks good and luxurious compare to others. They have swimming pool and the gym is spacious and almost have all the equipment needed for sets of workout. It is located in the zipcode that have A- crime grade upon my google search. So this apartment really is good i believe. Thus, i really want to stay here. It is just the management especially the people in leasing office needs some sincerity and clarity towards possible tenants. I filled up my application and paid the deposit needed to hold and start my application. But after completing the process i did not even received a welcome letter stating the next process. All they send is an auto generated from no response email address that i have paid and somebody will reach out to me shortly (no one reach out to me). I called everyday to follow up, they said that still no response from background check. Until at day 5, I decided just to cancel my application because i really need to move in within the week, and someone from leasing office told me that even the background/credit check completed, i still need to wait until specific date; the unit still not ready. Which She told me before i filled up the application form that i can move in earlier as soon as backbround check is done. The promotional one month free is also appealing, but now i doubt if it is true because It was just verbal. On the other hand, I applied in another apartment company and my background check was done in several minutes only. I hope they return my holding deposit, i believe they did not really run the background check."

"I wanted to like this place. The apartment is nice but the management is lacking. I have had multiple packages stolen from inside my own building and they refuse to do anything about it. Most professional complex’s have mail rooms or cameras or both. The answer I was given was buy your own ring camera (which is not legal for me to do as a tenant) or get your mail delivered to a different address. Completely unprofessional."

"I've been here since April of 2023. I really like it here so far. I have no trouble finding parking. It's a pretty safe community. The apartment itself is very nice and the price is great for the space. I have not had any issues getting maintenance to fix things. Only complaint is the front gate system is outdated and doesn't work. However, they are working on fixing it."

"Aspen Glen is a great community! Apartments are spacious, property has a lot to offer such as pool, tennis court and a gym! Connie is by far the best!! From the minute I signed my lease we got a long so well. She’s a very caring person. They go out of their way to make everyone happy . For Halloween they bought pumpkins for the kids to paint ! Can’t say enough great things about the place . Also Dan from maintenance is amazing although he’s not working for the Hamden one anymore when I moved in he made sure to get all my needs done ."

"I have lived in Aspen Glen for almost a year. It has been a great experience. It is affordable and the apartments are like luxury apartments. Plenty of space, new appliances, and the buildings are well maintained. The leasing stuff is great and always available to help you if you need it. It is close to downtown Hamden with plenty of stores and the Farmington canal trail is within walking distance for running and biking. I cannot recommend aspen Glen enough."
