"I lived at Whitney Towers for 3 years. I would have stayed longer if I didn't decide to purchase my own property. My girlfriend and I were very comfortable there. The landlord (Rich) was amazing. Rich always went above and beyond for his tenants, keeping the property feeling secure and serene."

"Last year I was relocated up to CT for work for a year. After a long apartment search, I decided to choose a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unit at Whitney Towers! Pros: - Location, location, location! (close to the 'miracle mile' & Eli's!) - Updated & spacious apartments - Superintendent on site (who is AWESOME!) - Ample off street parking - Water & AC/heat included - Competitive price for the area and amenities offered - Friendly & helpful leasing/office staff - Online rent payment & maintenance requests - Monthly community events - In-Building laundry rooms (on every other floor, kind of pricey, uses a card to pay instead of coins) - Well kept and clean common areas and building grounds Cons: - Outdated common areas - No gym - No package room - Outdated/dysfunctional locks on main doors - Unable to directly control thermostat temperate (basically, you choose on/off and the temperate is set for the entire building based on the season) Overall, I had a great experience here! I didn't have a maintenance issue my entire year. The superintendent is awesome and truly cares about the building and residents. While there are some cons, none of them are major issues, so for me, the pros highly outweigh the cons. I would strongly recommend the apartment to anyone who is looking for an apartment in Hamden! "Clean and well maintained building. Friendly, extremely reliable, and hardworking superintendent. He goes above and beyond for the residents. Noise level is low and I can barely ever hear other tenants from my apartment. A/C and heat are included and the panels on the roof keep my electric costs really low. Definitely a wonderful community to rent from!"
