"Jennifer, the leasing agent was great. I had to deal with two loud and obnoxious clients next to me and on the floor over me. I lost sleep for about 5 months. But Jennifer worked hard to make me comfortable. The noise stopped thanks to Jennifer. She is also supportive. Easy to talk to and very calm. Thank you Jennifer for your help and understanding."
"I was a resident at 760 Mix Ave. for 3 years and it was a living nightmare. Property manager addressed none of my concerns. It was cold in the winter time and a hot sauna in the summertime. All of the equipment in there was antiquated, noise beyond control & complained about it to no avail. There were pot users in the building and I was bothered by centipedes, roaches and ladybugs. Hallways in the building was filthy. Building 720 & 740 were kept immaculate. Rent increased by $200 per year. I was denied a showing in building 740 & it was flat out discrimination. And I advise anybody that's applying for an apartment in building 720 or 740 the apartments are immaculate, but building 760 is a slum."
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME VIEWING ANYTHING. Apartments and building is not worth high rents management is asking. Apartments have CHEAP HVAC UNITS (that flood), appliances, faucets, light fixtures, “faux wood” linoleum flooring, and tacky hospital drop ceilings. The building is non-smoking, but smells like marijuana and pipe/cigarette smoke because tenants smoke in units, elevator and stairwells all hours of day and night (and areas are never cleaned). “Tenants” are also intentionally loud all hours of day & night. When you complain to Management they raise your rent. “Gym” in basement has broken machines that they will not replace. The 70’s carpet and linoleum flooring throughout the building is barely cleaned regularly. The building only has one washer and dryer in the basement for the ENTIRE building. Management also allows the garbage to overflow into the parking lot on a regular basis which is unsanitary. They offer one year or month to month leases because of high overturn of tenants (very unsafe)! Do your family a favor and view a much nicer building with well constructed apartments that offer real amenities to their tenants!"
"Our family was looking to move and we looked at a privately owned apartment at Sutton Views and fell in love with the apartment and spoke to Shannon (Property Manager) and she worked with us on getting into apartment because we really loved them. We are closer to our daughters school which is a plus for us. The apartment is very spacious for us. The staff (maintenance)that is here is really helpful, when we send in repairs they are on it and if something needs to be replaced they go get it and fix it right then and there, no waiting. If we email Shannon, she is really great about replying back as soon as possible. We love the individual balcony that every apartment has. The building we live in is so quiet, we don't even know we have neighbors most of the time. Parking is plentiful, plus you have one assigned spot per apartment. In the winter they are good at maintaining the parking lot. We fell in love from first sight and we are now here enjoying the new place."
"My family and I are very happy living here. We moved in a year ago from a disgusting neighboring complex. Nothing in the world is perfect. But take it from a born and raised New Yorker. This place is nice to live in. Our maintenance guy is amazing and has never disappointed us. The old property manager was pleasant to us and now we have a new property manager and although we haven't met due to covid. She has been extremely attentive via email. Everyone has done their part to keep tenants safe during these difficult times. There was a review regarding Marijuana smell and smoking. I'm telling you the new property manager has handled that well. You no longer smell any kind of smoking here. I would recommend Sutton as I have to even my family in NY. And my balcony view is amazing which I love as a born and raised New Yorker."
