"One of the young ladies working here was so lovely and polite. She made Christmas shopping so much less stressful!"
"I came in over the weekend and was served by the loveliest girls. Emily was warm and friendly and I was able to leave feeling confident in four new outfits. I will always frequent this store as the staff are always so warm and everything is so tidy and easy to find!"
"One of my friends told me about this place called The Tree of Life that sells Indian clothes. So at first I thought that it would be selling traditional Indian wear but when I visited its store in Warringah Mall, I realised that they sell beautiful western outfits made out of Indian clothes and rural Indian materials. As soon as I entered the store, I knew I was going to be delighted. They have everything. Bright and colourful clothes, light & comfortable khadi wear, shawls, stoles, jackets, saree skirts, cushion covers, wind chimes, incense sticks (Aggarbattis), scented candles, etc. I bought a lot of things from here, all thanks to the sweet and helpful staff. I would like to specially mention the name of 1 staff person, Richa. She made me so comfortable and came up with different suggestions and ways in which I could adorn the clothes and the accessories. Really hard-working and the best thing is she knows her job well. I loved my time shopping here and will definitely come back. Cheers."
"Today I went to exchange a pair of pants less than 3 months old where the stitching had completely unravelled. I was informed that store policy states items can only be exchanged within 14 days. It’s unfortunate the store policy contravenes consumer law and therefore what should have been a simple swap for the same product now needs to be escalated."
"Purchased a necklace from the store that broke the day I bought it. Took in to return with receipt in hope of being provided with a replacement. Called the store 3 hours after dropped off to see if management had had a chance to advise on process, however was told manager was not in store until Wednesday (which was ok with me because I work close to area). Received a return call a couple of minutes after I'd called store for update and was advised that same necklace is at Newtown and can only be held for one day. They can not exchange between stores or so I would have to be refunded my initial payment and re-purchase at Newtown if can make the following day. If would like posted, I'd have to pay postage. Although staff were friendly and helpful, I found the customer experience poor. Having to call back for information, then to be advised only option is to collect next day from a store 40min-1hr away is not good service. For a big company, should focus more on customer and resolving complaints without requiring customer to put in additional effort. The necklace is also over $100 (although discounted) - not asking the company to run around for a cheap product. Disappointing."
