"I've been here for four years, and it's been a downhill experience. The current management is more than just incompetent; they're a complete disaster. The maintenance team is not just unhelpful, but their presence makes you feel unsafe. The office staff seem utterly miserable, both in their jobs and likely in their personal lives as well. What started as an acceptable living situation has spiraled into a deeply unpleasant experience. I'm eagerly counting the days until I can leave, and it's obvious that a vast majority of the residents are thoroughly disillusioned with this dismal management team. Do not sign a lease at this place."

"I had initially enjoyed living at this apartment complex, but over time, I've noticed a significant decline in its overall quality. When I first moved in, it was a wonderful place to live, but several issues have arisen that have made my experience less enjoyable. One of the most frustrating aspects is the maintenance problems. The hot tub has been out of order for an extended period, and it doesn't seem like there's any urgency to fix it. Additionally, three out of the five fire-pits are broken, which is disappointing because they used to be a great amenity for residents. The carpets around the entire complex are in terrible condition, with numerous stains and a lack of proper maintenance. It's disheartening to see such a decline in the appearance of the common areas. Furthermore, the walls in the hallways have marks and nicks that have not been addressed. I've tried to report these issues by submitting work orders, but it's frustrating to see them marked as resolved without any actual work being done. This lack of follow-through on maintenance requests is disappointing and reflects poorly on the commitment to resident satisfaction. Safety has also become a concern during my time here. Bikes have been stolen, and the complex has sent emails warning us not to leave valuables in our cars due to multiple break-ins. Additionally, there has been numerous packages stolen. Perhaps the most concerning safety issue is that the gate to access the garage has been broken for over nine months, compromising the security of our vehicles. In conclusion, while this apartment complex was a great place to live initially, there has been a noticeable decline in upkeep and safety. The lack of attention to maintenance requests, along with the ongoing safety concerns, have significantly diminished my overall satisfaction with living here. I hope these issues are addressed promptly to improve the living experience for all residents."

"Was happy to begin with but have had a few run ins with the staff mainly office personnel that reminded me of why I do not like to have to be in these uppity complexes and deal with the snobby wanna be Scottsdale attitudes of those who think they are above the rest of us “regular people”. I’ve been harassed by leasing agents when using a pool bathroom wanting me to prove I was supposed to be there and it was 9pm in the middle of a monsoon storm that had sprung up and caused myself and my friend to run for cover. After producing the requested pool key and unit number I was from the man just said some stupid remark under his breath and left. No apology no nothing. The ac was out on my respective floor in the hallways for st least 2 weeks causing the electricity in our unit to be working extra hard. And to be drastically higher as a result . I was also ignored when I approached the leasing staff about a situation about my visiting family members REGISTERED service animal. They couldn’t have cared less and now I am not looking to renew and I was about to rent the studio on 1 st floor as a work space but this place is not going to be where I choose to spend my money nor use it’s amenities in any of my future work. I had many comments in reference to locations used in the photo shoots and I used to gladly give up where it was along with a stellar recommendation. NOT HAPPENING NOW"

"We leased our home months before moving to Arizona and are so happy we chose Novel Rio! Our floor plan is now not available anymore, we leased just in time! The stunning finishes throughout the property sold us almost immediately, and then we got inside our apartment! Our family will be coming to visit quite a bit so having a spacious kitchen was a must for us. No longer will we have to fight for closet space or the sink! Moving in the Summer is almost worth it when you have such a beautiful pool to relax in, we're not used to year round pool weather! Can't wait to start meeting other friends in the building and checking out some goodies from the killer gear rental room they have!"

"I recently moved into Novel Rio from Southern California seeking a new chapter in my life. With the help of friends that live in apartments nearby they helped me find a brand new home for me. Having lived in a casita with a window air conditioner and virtually no appliances a brand new apartment was something I desperately needed. I was helped through the leasing process every step of the way by the leasing staff and being able to do all my paperwork remotely was a huge savior for me. My favorite things about my new complex are my free parking spot, the fitness center, and access to the jogging trails nearby. Not having the beach to jog along will be a change for me but I'm really liking the trails along the lake and the neighborhood. There are so many awesome features in my apartment that I now am in love with like the soft closing drawers and my smart thermostat. The proximity to the airport makes me feel right at home and makes it easy when I need to fly out to see my family. I can't wait to start meeting new friends and experiencing everything this complex has to offer."
