"I just successfully completed a 21 day program at White Sands. The entire staff was amazing, and extra Kudos to my Counselor Thomas, and my favorite BHT Maria. The reason that I am only giving the facility a 3 star is because a good portion of the clientele / patients were overwhelmingly distractive. From what I understand while talking to patients who have been to White Sand's multiple times, they never seen it that bad. A lot of Court order , Homeless , Mental patients were allowed in during my stay's time period. I understand that addiction doesn't discriminate when it comes to race / gender / sexual preference, but these people did not want to be there for help, they were either forced or better off from where they came from. If I could make a suggestion if you are going to allow these type of patients into the facility, Security and BHT's have to step up their game and enforce the rules to the fullest, and weed out the people who are distracting to other patients. I actually felt sorry for the BHT's who were verbally abused to a point where it made me feel uncomfortable. In Conclusion, very good facility and staff, need to work on clientele and enforcing rules."

"I'm confident that after my fourth visit to White Sands, that I'm fully capable of taking over from here. I learned a lot in that place and I met some wonderful people. Most notably Brandy my Case Manager. It's refreshing to have someone that you need to rely on, be so incredibly capable. She's always wearing a smile, which I've learned can be contagious. "Whit sands on Verne street Tampa FL is nothing at all who or what advertise. They do not offer any of the items that they tell you they None of items come with it it’s because they have not paid for memberships. They are going in as a guest. You have to fill out paperwork every time you go to the gym each day to work out because they are not a member nor are you a member you are going in as a guest as you have to fill out your information each time on iPad on my last day June 15, 2024 they asked me to come into a conference room to speak with me prior to that on June 14. I reported that my roommate put dish detergent in my drink , I saw her and witnessed her put the dish detergent in my drink. I reported it to the worker Tony he asked for the drink did nothing with it. I grievance which was never talked about or no follow up information. Once they asked me to come into this conference room they were bring new patient in my space before asking me to leave. I spoke with Christina and requested that I pack my own, items they refused to allow me to pack my items. Well I called police Toney worker verbally abused me at that point they didn’t want to take me to airport. They didn’t provide me with aftercare so I got my items took them across the street. I had to wait till next morning till my mom can help me. I slept outside all night. this is White Sand review on my outtake, and what happened to me. Also, they stole from me they took over $500 worth of items from me. All of my items were not there. They were taken. Staff has stolen all of my items that I have brought and purchased since being there."
