Dr. Gregory Berland, a dedicated physician born in Richmond, Virginia, and raised in Oklahoma City, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his practice. After earning his undergraduate degree in mammalian physiology from Oklahoma State University in 1996, he became the first in his family to pursue a career in medicine, graduating from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in 2000. He completed his residency with distinction as chief resident at Bayfront Medical Center’s Family Residency Program in St. Petersburg, Florida. Furthering his commitment to education, Dr. Berland served as a clinical professor in the Family Practice Residency Program at Bayfront Medical Center before founding Patients First Family Medicine in 2003.
Board-certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Berland is an active member of the American Academy and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. He is certified in wound care and hyperbaric medicine and holds hospital privileges at AdventHealth Carrollwood campus and several skilled nursing facilities. Dr. Berland provides comprehensive care for patients aged 12 and up, offering both traditional and holistic treatment options to ensure optimal health outcomes.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dr. Berland enjoys a variety of sports, including triathlons, tough mudder races, scuba diving, and Oklahoma football. He resides in Westchase with his wife, Amy, and their daughters, Reese and Paige.
