"I love Costa Vida and will continue going, but my most recent experience was disappointing. I waited in the drive thru for a good 30-40 minutes and when I got home with my food I was pretty disappointed in the quantity given. The 8 oz refried beans side was only 1/3 of the way full- which is not an exaggeration. I had two other 8 oz sides that were also under halfway full. I think had I gone inside instead of the drive thru there wouldn’t have been a problem since there’s no way they would have only filled it that much with me standing right in front of them. Like I said- love the food, but I can’t recommend the drive thru. It was a pretty disappointing experience to only get 1/3 of what they advertise and what I’m paying for."

"It's pretty good. I'm not one to usually eat Mexican style food, so I can't really compare it to other places. The staff were kind and my wife and I were served fairly quickly. I got the burrito and it was tasty. The flavor and texture was nice, the rice was well cooked, and the beans were a good, firm, consistency."

"Ordered online through the app, and when I got home my steak burrito was filled with pork. The extra steak I had ordered was on the side in lieu of inside the burrito. Appearantly you have to specify the extra should be included in your meal. Frustrating that the steak costs more even though it still tastes good. Update: Thanks Customer Service for listening to the feedback and making it right!"

"I ordered a burrito and the server barely put rice and beans and meat in my burrito. It is outraging paying $10 to eat basically tortilla. I also ordered a nacho and they somehow managed to burn the chips….. it is frustrating"

"I've been to this location a few times and it's pretty bad. The staff is usually friendly, however it is so much so I have seen them invite their friends behind the counter and start having conversations while I wait on them for my order. One time during a dinner rush they ran out of steak and pork, two of their three meat items and the wait times were over 10 minutes before anyone could even order their food. This last time I went I got a "steak" burrito which had a total of 4 tiny pieces of meat, 1/4 cup rice and maybe 1/8 cup beans in a massive tortilla. The bottom of the tin had burned food on it and I ended up eating part of my spouse's food instead of enjoying my own order. Convenient location, just poor execution. Edit: Since I posted this (~9 months ago) things have significantly improved. The staff is a lot more professional, however they still run into issues like running out of rice during dinner rushes, getting an order wrong or not keeping up on the bathrooms. The food has improved greatly, though I haven't tried using the drive thru again. I am confident with a little more effort, this could be one of the best Costa Vida's in the valley."
