Caliber at Cornerstar Apartments

"I live on the second floor and currently there’s very loud, disturbing construction outside my window that we didn’t get a notice about. The apartment manager, Isabel, never gave us an email letting us know when it would be over. Been living here for over 3 years and it’s a lack of respect for tenants to not be notified about loud banging for hours outside my window. I work nights and have to come home and sleep during the day. This has been going on for weeks. I keep calling her and she’s refusing to take my calls. It’s getting really ridiculous. There’s wall debris and holes in my wall. Daisy as well as Isabel, weren’t apologetic about it either. Very rude on the phone."

"This review covers my experience with Caliber at Cornerstar (specifically with with Malhia, the Assistant Community Manager) from viewing to move in. I first contacted Caliber at about 4pm on a Saturday asking if there was time for a tour. Even though I hadn’t properly scheduled anything, and left it quite late in the day, Malhia was very accommodating and said to come on over, and she’d make sure we had a tour. When we arrived, we had a brief Q&A with Malhia. After the long and tedious process of apartment hunting, we welcomed her friendly, efficient and knowledgeable way of answering all our questions. She could precisely say what charges were included, what was not included (at a later point after the tour she emailed a quote with the very same charges, identical as per our conversation). The transparency was reassuring. Then the tour: We wanted to see a 3 bed, but there was none available unoccupied, except one in mid-renovation. So she kindly managed to sort out a quick tour of that one at no notice after checking the renovation crew were clear. The apartment was immaculate, new carpets and paint - and everything the pictures promised. (As a side note, these apartments are very generously sized - much bigger than equivalent 3 beds we'd be looking at in the area. Also the build quality and condition was also superior). From there we decided to begin the lease application process. Malhia was totally on the case from Day 1. She had all the lease paperwork ready, and was super flexible to make some minor adjustments we asked for, she responded to all emails in a very timely manner - never kept us dangling. And if anything, I held things up on my side (arranging renter’s insurance, completing the pet profile and getting my co-signer to sign). As I said before, everything in the contract aligned with the verbal conversation I had had with Malhia before the tour. Also Caliber were running a one month rebate on select apartments, and that is exactly what we got in the calculation of per month rent charges. No hidden charges or sudden unexplained charges appeared. Malhia also set us up with contacts for Xcel Energy and Century Link, so all services would be up an running from Day 1. Then the move in was equally smooth, Malhia accommodated some of our requests, provided a generous move-in gift, welcome pack of useful information and happily answered a bunch more questions from me. All in all, it was a pain free, quick (about a week from start to finish) and smooth process from initial viewing to move-in, all thanks to the great customer service from Malhia. It was a pleasure dealing with her, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. The apartment is everything we wanted and more, so 5 stars all round. Thank you Malhia!! "Caliber is definitely the best apartment complex I have ever lived at. The leasing office is top tier with Malhia and Kim. Problems are addressed right away and properly. This is the first place an apartment complex has seemed to care about it’s residents and wanted to take care of them. I would highly recommend checking out these apartments!"

"Great apartment complex! The leasing department was always very responsive with any questions and issues we had, and the maintenance people were always very kind and super helpful! The apartments are very nice and roomy, kitchen has a lot of space, and the appliances are amazing! The complex did an amazing job designing the apartments! The kitchen is definitely the eye catcher as it is beautiful! Love that this complex is pet friendly and everyone we interacted with while living there were very nice. Everyone said hello to each other, and just overall was a good feeling to be around these people. It felt like a little community living there! The complex provides trash pickup in the evenings (on certain days), where employee will pick up any trash bags that are left outside the residents door. This is a really cool idea, but some residents did leave trash that did not smell the greatest, and it would make the hallway smell like trash some evenings. This is really a minor compliant, overall, out of the half-dozen apartment complexes I have lived in my life, this one is by far is the best and I really wish I can find something similar where I am now."

"Caliber at Cornerstar is an amazing fun and friendly place to live! Definitely recommended. The staff are amazing, excellent customer service all around great to talk too and great community. Tabatha and Will made my move so easy! Very professional, timely and caring. My family and I love this place and I am sure you will too! The apartments have great layouts and ample space, all new appliances and great views. The maintenance team is fast and reliable with impeccable work. Overall amazing experience so far!
