"7 months in - getting betterish without Josh and Caitlin! Pro tip from the office - don't give them your vehicle details (or your guests) you can park streetside (ignore the no park signs). Pros: Year-round hot tub/pool, beautiful apartments and nice common areas, coffee/hot chocolate machine, gym, close to light rail (DIA or downtown), great maintenance team (quick to respond and through -very nice gentleman too.) Cons: loitering in the hallways of apartments, trash, thin walls (smells and sounds), dog pop and trash (people are just NASTY/LAZY!)...inconsiderate neighbors. Biggest Con is having to be a bi_ _ _ to get what you are already paying for. We addressed the street parking - to try to cut the loud noises and loitering in our section's hallway. The fact that people who don't live here got more consideration from management the past 5+ months then the other 9 units (20+) people who DO pay to live here, baffles me! I'd say the only thing that really ticks me off about moving re - was losing about $1,000.00 because our garage was not ready (so we paid movers to move things inside and upstairs vs directly into the garage - which we had to later, which was more time and money)."

"UPDATE: We are paying to break our lease early because this place sucks so much. My patio door issue has finally been fixed well enough that we can use it...a complaint I made at the beginning of November. It is now the beginning of February. 3 months we couldn't use an amenity we paid for. There's been an issue with our patio door vibrating so loud it wakes us up. Still no resolution. I called the office as soon as the opened constantly for 30 minutes and no one ever answered. I have called once in the last 3 months where someone actually answered. Other than that all of our calls have been ignored. Do not move here. I've lived here less than a month and am ready to be done with my lease. I asked if this apt had been professionally cleaned, was told yes (I have an email stating so) and here I am weeks later still trying to clean the mess left by the previous tenant. All the things you dont get a good look at while touring. This place was just gross. Then they said the carpets were for sure professionally cleaned...haha yea right. I didn't trust it after seeing all the other filth, so I rented a carpet cleaner and I'm so glad I did. The dirty water tank ended up being BLACK! Just gross. Then don't even get me started on the filth that was left in the bathroom...dried urine and poo stains under the toilet seat and filth in tub. And now it's been problem after problem. The screen door to the porch was broken and is going to take a while to fix, the front door handle fell off completely, the dishwasher somehow throws the breaker and will stop working, the hot water stopped working throughout the entire apt and of course you can't access your own water heater...I'm so over this place."

"Lived there for 4 years. I only moved because my employer's office moved out to Golden. The office and maintenance staff were friendly, competent and patient. Whenever I had a maintenance issue or they had to inspect something in my apartment, they always worked with my schedule so I wouldn't have to cage my dog who is old, and traumatized by being in the cage. I would recommend this community to anyone."

"The management was good when we moved in but the new management is awful. For starters, they do not answer their phones and they do not return calls even when you give them a good time to call you back. At one point, they left a notice on our door telling us to remove the grill from our balcony. We didn't have a grill on our balcony- our neighbors did. They left the notice on the wrong door and didn't return my call when I asked them about it. My boyfriend's car was broken into on Halloween and we were interested in the security footage and management told us that they would send us footage via email from the parking lot. We never received it. Then, they tried to tow his rental car from the parking lot. A month ago (June), we wanted to use the swimming pool, but the manager told us that the heater was not working in the pool or the hot tub. She told us that it was supposed to be fixed that day, but the technician had gotten sick and wasn't able to that day. That might have been a believable story if the heater was working when we went back two weeks later. The pool was so cold and unusable during the summer season. Last fall, the police broke down our neighbor's door (they apparently weren't home). I recognize that management is not responsible for the actions of their tenants or the police, but they did not replace the door before the new tenant moved in. The picture below was taken two days before we moved out. I would hope that management companies would grant their tenants the dignity of privacy and a fully functioning door, and Elevate does not do that. Do better. There are many apartment complexes in Green Valley Ranch and I would absolutely not recommend Elevate at Pena Station."

"Seriously one of the best places I've lived in. The community is wonderful & facilities are brand new. The best part would have to be the staff, however. They bend over backwards to accommodate us, and it shows a level of concern that I've never experienced anywhere else. UPDATE: Had to deduct stars due to the parking situation. As the complex filled up (or maybe people park here to use the nearby train station), spots have become scarce. I've had to leave my car in front of the garbage pickup area it's that bad. Really disappointing. UPDATE 2: Management took immediate action to solve the parking issue - good job guys. FINAL UPDATE: Well, it's been a year and I have to say... gonna miss this place! Gino, Kristen, and Richard have been wonderful and could not have done more to make us feel like family. If not for my need to be closer to the city, I would stay :(. Anyone reading this that might be on the fence about living here -- just do it. They will take care of you."
