"My overall experience at Advenir at French Quarter has been excellent! After dealing with a nightmare property management company in a lovely area of Capital Hill, the support I’ve received 8 months into my time here has been a breath of fresh air. I rent a 1/1 with a nice-sized patio, WD, dishwasher, and plenty of additional storage space and save a ton of money for nearly the same level of comfort. Parking is open and I haven’t felt any less secure parking my vehicle here than street parking in Capital Hill — no issues to date on this. Kiddos are out playing until sunset so it feels safe, as most parents are outside and rotating watching their kids. I don’t go out after dark unless it’s a quick in and out somewhere so I can’t speak on any violence at night — it isn’t something I’ve personally witnessed. This is a pet-friendly community so that does add to the safety aspect. Previous comments regarding homeless individuals wandering around were true for a bit of time, however, this was directly correlated to an encampment that was on the highway on-ramp nearby. This has now been dissolved and there has not been a noticeable presence outside of your norm in Denver. There has also been a strong correlation between rat infestations and encampments, with this being a key component in the mayor’s current initiative to get folks off the streets by 2024. Yeah, it exists, but again it’s situational and since the weather has cooled down and the encampment was dissolved I haven’t noticed any significant issue. It frustrates me to read through the comments and see such low ratings for issues that are not isolated to this complex! Aside from the above, the team is on-site on a regular weekly schedule and available to help with any needs — packages can also be delivered to their secured area which is a nice feature! They do employ a nighttime security guard and a third-party parking system so again, there’s more comfort in safety. I did come into this lease on a last-minute basis and had a bad taste in my mouth from previous experiences that were less than desirable. Leslie, Conor, and (most especially) Jackie have all been extremely kind and eager to hello, overall great assets to the community and have made the rental process an experience that isn’t an absolute nightmare! Proximity to everyday needs is close by; Dollar Tree, ARC, and King Soopers are across the street and Cherry Creek State Park is right next door. I have no complaints at all, thanks for making this a positive living experience!"

"*DANGER* (please read) I don’t think i’ve ever written a review on anything but this place is truly the worst. it is dirty, dangerous, disgusting, repulsive, and so many more horrible things. we moved in a year ago and could not be more excited to move. If you live on the first floor you’ll have rats INSIDE of your apartment, any other floor you’ll have roaches, bed bugs, and you could probably catch something by just breathing in the air in the hallways. our neighbor was held at gunpoint by 2 men after being lead in by a “lost girl” who needed help in the parking lot INSIDE the compound. we haven’t had working ac for 5 months and had maintence from advenir and a 3rd party that works with advenir to come fix it and still NOTHING. there is trash everywhere inside and out. this is a very popular hangout for homeless people (some are really cool, some are the worst living things ever) I can confidentially say there is a domestic violence once or twice a week that always turns violent (the last time a guy threatened a women with a machete outside the entrance to the apartment and people with their kids were trying to get past him while he screamed obscenities). there are some kind staff members but also some horrible ones. people’s cars are broken into and sometimes just smashed for fun. I’d rather live in my car than have to pay $2000 a month to live horribly. the staff always act surprised or baffled when they hear these things but are just acting. most of the maintenance workers will simply tell you “yea the building is old so it’s hard to keep rodents and bugs out and keep rust out.” you ask anyone who’s lived here for a week and they’ll tell you to run as far as you can and never look back."
