"Look, these are located in a PRIME area of Aurora. Everything is close by. Even downtown Denver is 25 minutes. I do wish they did better care on landscaping and trash pick up outside (some residents are trashy) . If they modernized these apartments even more, and actually invested like all the apartments due north are/have this would be an even better complex. I hope the owner considers what I am saying."
"On the first day we move to this place it was fine until the first few months in. This place is infested with cockroaches and when we talked to the staff they said ok ok they’ll fix that, but nope, they forgot till we were questioning and asked a month later because we waited for someone to come. And then three months in there was flooding. Someone opened the door and rain water got into the first floor of the building (we live down in the first floor) and this apartments door sucks because there’s a gap on the bottom of the door where it keeps everything out instead of in, all the water got in and ruined the boards. Waited about a week for them to come fix it. A month after that, ( 2 years in) we notice some fungus on the ceiling of our shower. Again, talked to them but it they did not fix it and is still here. Not even four months in the place flooded again people someone had clog the toilet and since everything is “connected” (apparently just connected to our rooms) got flooded in the bathroom. We came home from working and noticed something weird in the bathroom toilet and our shower was filled with water, so we called and they came and unclogged it making the place flood . Three months going by and there was another flooding but this time our place was connected to the water pipes and this day, it was snowing hard. (Not to mentioned the heater of the place, it did not work at all, again we talked to the front desk and they said ok but never fixed it until 5-6 months later) so we came home and saw the place flooding near the beds, that’s where the water pipe is and it’s stupid that it’s connected to the heater. Fast forward, then there were just people you would hear arguing at 3am! Ridiculous. Then there were times where we have things stolen in the laundry room like our clothes and packages we’ve ordered. People would play loud music as if they’re trying to tell people or make people get out which I’m gladly too. There was a murder scene a few days ago in the laundry room too. This place is like a curse place. To anyone out there finding a place, DO NOT GO HERE. There are so many better places to go."
"When I first moved in I didn’t have problems at all in fact I was confused by the reviews because they were all negative. Staff people are always courteous , charming & welcoming. my apartment remodeled love the floors , the kitchen basically everything . I loved the view by my window . I like that I’m in the first floor and laundry is so close to my apartment. Mostly because I have a baby so it was easy for me to bring with me to wash my clothes. but it’s dangerous. The washing machines brake easily but good Job at repairing when needed to it’s understandable that because of all the people using them they can brake easily. I recommend using the locks on the doors in laundry room because it’s winter & more homeless will want to stay warm . It has happened to me that I tried to get my clothes at around 6:00pm when it’s dark outside and I seen people hiding there with the lights off. Another problem was my neighbors in front of me they became loud, they had parties every 3 days and get drunk. One of them once peed out side in the hallway and the next day my son step on that not knowing what it was and realized once I saw my videos from security camera . I had to throw the shoes away. The lady started to leave her weed pipe in the Fire extinguisher next to my door I had to buy a Smoke blocker for my door because I find out they used to smoke in front of my door . They broke the door glass at the exit and the hallway became cold. They let their kids play outside (in the hallway/inside of building) making as much noise as possible and they used to knock on my door and run off . Thankfully the office team did helped me out and that problem it’s being taking care of & soon I will be living in my lovely apartment in peace ❤️ I want to thank them for all they have done to help me out , for being so understanding and patience. another thing that it bugs me its people stealing my packages . and neighbors leaving their clothes at the washing machines for too long after it’s been done . 10 mins it’s my grace time for them to take their clothes out. A random guy have came to my window as I was laying down in my couch to wave Hi to me that was creepy . I love the family activities the office do ! That’s always charming. My first Summer here was awesome I just didn’t like how my neighbors used to play their music so loud at the pool and they used to bring alcohol drinks and food. Sometimes inside of pool .not everyone its interested on hearing their music. I just feel like my neighbors are inconsiderate to the rest of us living here When it comes to their loud music, smoke (not everyone smokes so we do mind you smoking inside) and when it comes to the shareable places like the laundry and pool. To me the office have done everything they can to keep this place as peaceful as possible that is my experience. Roaches yes I seen 3 to 5 at night in the kitchen or bathroom area & guess what ? I keep it clean as much as possible and disinfect as much as possible and I cooperate with the office so they can come and fumigate. As I seen how my neighbors in front of me they never let the guys do their job even tho they have tried to knock on their door no one ever opens . so yeah the roaches are never leaving because of inconsiderate people like them . That is my experience living here for the past 10months ?"
"Listen to the reviews. If I could give zero stars, I would. It started with minor things. My closet door broke, and it took them two months to come and fix it. And they only showed up because I called their head office and complained that nothing was getting done about a heavy door repeatedly falling off its hinges and causing injury. When they came to repair it, they jerry-rigged the repair and the door fell off again after a few months. Roaches. After clearing out the entirety of my kitchen and bathroom, pest control showed up, sprayed, and left. A week later, roaches were back. Instead of treating the actual infestation, they just treat the symptoms, and the bugs just move to the next apartment in the hallway. The window A/Cs are ancient and are barely able to cool the living room, let alone the kitchen and the bedroom. And the heat is just as bad. While I didn’t have as many issues in the winter, one of my neighbors did. She and her 2-year-old were forced to exit their lease early because the baseboard heaters weren’t working, and the leasing office refused to repair the system. The property is pet friendly, and it stated in the lease agreement that all dogs were required to be leashed at all times while outside, however, that was not enforced. My dog and I were charged at three times by large breed dogs that were supposed to be banned from the property but weren't. When reported, nothing was done. In addition, the leasing agents were hostile towards those of us who had sick pets. One of them told me that I would be better off killing my dog than trying to treat him. The property does have a pool, but in the two and a half summers I was there, it was only open for one. There was glass in it and chemicals were always unbalanced. There is also a playground on site, but I would not let any child play on it. It’s decades old and falling apart. The metal is rusted, and the plastic is cracked and damaged. I saw a kid go down the slide and get his leg scratched up because of a massive, jagged crack at the bottom. The flooring of the playground is old wood chips and I saw broken glass, blades, rocks and used needles in that playground. The laundry room in my building had a broken door lock so people were breaking in to sleep at night. On top of that, the washers and driers rarely worked. More often than not, they stole your money and locked your clothes inside. And that was even if you were lucky enough to find a machine that hadn’t been urinated in. Package theft was a major problem at PP@E. Despite their website stating that the leasing office would accept delivery of packages, they refused to do so. Mailboxes were broken into as well. While I was there, there were multiple shootings, a shootout in front of bldg E, and a murder in front of bldg D. Car break-ins, theft, gang and drug violence are regular occurrences. And nothing is done about the residents who use drugs and harass other residents in the midst of their highs. Domestic violence is an issue too. By the time I left, it was bad enough that the overnight “security” company they hired REFUSED to come to the property if residents called. There were numerous fire extinguishers that were missing, and emergency lighting did not work. Two of the five buildings (B & E) burned. Residents never got clear explanations as to what caused the fires, and the residents of those buildings lost everything due to asbestos contamination. Those who paid for the insurance provided by the leasing office were screwed out of settlements. And that was after months and months of stalling by the company to payout on any claims. Rent went up annually, but instead of using the money to improve safety, they used the money to put new carpet on the mailroom entrance, replace the mulch in the flower beds with rocks. Light fixtures, stair railings, busted windows and doors were never fixed. Good luck getting your security deposit back. They took 80% of mine, even though I left my place clean upon leaving. Rent somewhere else and save yourself the suffering."
"Worst apartments I ever lived at. Roaches, loud neighbors, crime, broken doors/glass, washers and dryers always broken, you name it they have it. To top it off the building we lived in had a fire and they made us homeless for a month. It's been two months and they still have all of our personal property and have yet to refund us our rent. DON'T LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. IF I COULD I WOULD LEAVE ZERO STARS."
