"havent had heat since i moved in in september. i have had several of my packages get stolen and strangers wander the halls at night, wiggling my neighbors door handles which I have caught on my ring camera several times. don't believe them when they say there is security because there isn't the slightest bit. they won't even fix the doors to provide even the tiniest level of security. and on top of it all management is extremely unhelpful and does not care about the quality of life of the people living in this building. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."
"Beautiful building and excellent location."
"This place used to be an amazing place to live. Around January 2021 the owners changed and the place literally started to fall apart. Urban American, the new owners, left our building without heat for 5 of the coldest months of the year. We asked for a rent reduction and they sent the lawyers after us. Shortly after, there was a large amount of power issues including the electric line catching fire. The power continued to be on and off for weeks. Urban American will also not answer the phone for anything other than new leasers. I've called and selected every option and they all forward to a full mail box, except for new leasing. The maintenance department will answer and help you set up a maintenance request but no one will ever come, even if the request ticket is escalated. There have also been issues with break-ins which shouldn't be an issue since we have "Security" but not once have I seen security and many times I've seen people breaking in. They even deleted the 20+ reviews, including this one, from other residents on here detailing the same events that I am. It breaks my heart because this building is beautiful and the apartment is really nice, and in a great location. The owners will definitely drive this beautiful home into a trash heap. Update 2022: There's a blizzard outside and the brand new boiler is off."
