Baker School Apartments

"Been living here about 4 years now, it’s been good and bad over time but nowhere is going to be perfect. However there is only 4 guest parking spaces total now when there about 8 before. It’s hard to have visitors over and worry if they will be towed so you feel like you have to rush them out. Clearly there is plenty of spaces to have a few guest spaces at each building..Also the new doors look horrible feels like a prison and made the complex look ghetto and more run down than it already is with all the bad kids destroying everything. Now you can’t see who’s coming or going someone almost hit me with the door as I was leaving and they were entering building. It was so nice when we first moved in but I don’t know if we’ll sign another lease when the time comes."

"I’ve been living here since they opened late 2018. My neighbors are nice and mind their own business. The maintenance lady is sweet and tries to fix everything on a timely manner. Parents here don’t watch their kids they’re running around and breaking things also leave the trash all over the apartment complex. They use the excuse of tenant parking for not adding guest parking or giving us guest parking passes. But If you drive around at night there is clearly enough parking to at least add 2 or 3 guest parkings per buildings or even provide us with one guest pass. Also the doors to the main building where nice glass doors but a few months ago they switched them to some white ugly doors that made the apartments look like they are run down. The one where my units located had handle installed wrong and made it look worse. Those are my only two complaints about this community I’ve expressed to all and new management but they all say the same thing."

"PLEASE do not bother moving here! My family has lived here almost 3 years and aside from maintenance being awful and THIEVES, the manager Geneiva is not only racist, she treats people bad for no reason! She clearly prefers only Hispanic tenants that are family/friends. You will wait months to get anything fixed, honestly only around inspection time. Geneiva is rude and will ignore every attempt of communication. I HOPE they get better management soon, she does not deserve the power she has. Trust me, she uses it to make tenants feel beneath her although she lives in the same complex. All buildings security doors have been disabled EXCEPT the building she lives in which clearly indicates she only cares about HER safety. Do NOT move to Bakers unless you want to pay for your own repairs, possibly have rent payments disappear, and want to be treated like peasants."

"I have lived here going on 5 years. We have had some good experiences and bad experiences. No where is perfect. We have probably have had office staff changes 3 times and a steady stream of different Maintenance workers. Our current staff has been great though!! I can’t speak for other units/towers but ours have been good. No bugs or rodents. The kids around here are ruthless and hardly have supervision! This past summer staff made steps to inform parents of their Destruction and I do mean Destruction. Been pretty quiet sense. Over all my biggest complaint would be there’s no visitor parking and the ones we do have residents have taken to park extras cars that are not Registered with the office!!! The surrounding neighborhood isn’t the best either."

"Geneva is extremely rude to tenants, she has had an attitude every time I’ve interacted with her, has no sense of customer service and acts as if she pays your rent. A maintenance lady called me on personal needs, WHY WOULD ANYONE ELSE HAVE ACCESS TO MY INFORMATION? My car was towed without a reason and Geneva was rude when it was their fault in the first place. I do NOT recommend living here PLEASE take your business to a respectful company"
