About the Business
Station West Apartments is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment complex conveniently located in Lakewood, Colorado, near the W Line Station at Wadsworth. Our apartments feature ample kitchen space, air conditioning, and access to on-site laundry facilities. Enjoy our beautiful courtyard with seating, gas grill, and a ping-pong table. The apartments have been recently renovated with designer flooring, new countertops, tile, and lighting. Updated kitchens and bathrooms, new windows, and two-tone paint schemes give our apartments a modern and stylish look. Free off-street parking is available, and we welcome up to 2 pets with a weight limit of 65 lbs each. Please note that photos may not be representative of all units.
Located just west of Denver, Station West Apartments are only 2 blocks from the Wadsworth Light Rail Station, providing easy access to downtown Denver and Golden on the W Line. Crown Hill Park is a short drive north, while Belmar Shopping Center is a quick trip south.

"Edited 10/15/23: I have moved out, however in June the place seemed the same. It took at least 4 phone calls in order to schedule the mandatory walk-through when ending a lease and wheelhouse never showed up, nor did they call to cancel. Last month someone was shot and killed at the intersection of Yukon and W 13th Ave. If moving from out of state, please visit in person before signing a lease. I'm not sure how this place has a 4 star average review. The interior of the apartment is decent and the property management company does a good job, but this area is not safe at all. There are probably 20-30 homeless people that live behind the parking lot and I've seen up to 100 of them at the RTD stop nearby. The Lakewood Police are aware of the encampment and said they cannot remove anybody from the (private) property without property management/property owners requesting it. I urge anyone who is considering this apartment complex to visit sometime after 9-10pm any day of the week and walk a lap around the building and/or to the RTD stop. If anyone from Wheelhouse reads this review, I understand that you are not solely responsible for these issues, I will update this review if/when the situation improves."

"I lived in this apartment for 2 years. The interior was newly remodeled and nice. Maintenance was on top of repairs and addressed issues quickly. Wheelhouse themselves was responsive to my emails. However, I called the police more while living there than I have my entire life. The homeless population in the area is out of control. Oftentimes, homeless camps would be set up around the parking lot. Used needles could also be found on the ground as many did drugs around the complex. Often, the homeless would break in to the laundry room for warmth or to use drugs. I'm not sure what the solution is, but I think it's important for people to know. Especially those with young children. I have included pictures from one day, in particular, for reference."
