One Belmar Place Apartments

"The properties cleaning service cleaned out the unit above our garage and dumped metal and plastic all over our car. After moving our car so that there would be no further damage there were plastic shards, screws, drill bits and other metal pieces on our driveway. We tried to get assistance from Mia, the manager, but she refused to help us and said she couldn’t even verify if the driveway spot in front of our garage was ours. We tried to see if we could park elsewhere in the complex till the issue was resolved but Mia, the manager, refused and offered no help. Mia confirmed that the residents had moved out the day prior and it was the property cleaners who had done the damage but later in the day when we went back to ask why it was never cleaned up she changed her story and said the cleaners weren’t on the property. When we asked if she could accommodate us to one of the many open spaces through out the complex she said she was unable to help because parking is managed by a third party. We also pay for a monthly package locker fee but this doesn’t stop our packages from getting stolen."

"I am writing this review because I have been having a lot of issues with my packaged being delivered. The delivery service would either leave them in the mail room for everyone to take or just throw them on the ground in front of someone else's door. (not even my unit) I have had multiple deliveries missing in the past 2 months and no one ever seems to know where they went. The place I purchased the items from would tell me that they delivered it and take pictures of the door but then again it's never my door that they deliver to. So my items are always lost! I'm not sure if its the tenants or management taking the items but please do not take items that do not belong to you and be honest about it. This is bringing the term "porch pirate" to a whole new level. Its very frustrating!!! Sometimes my items are very small and can easily be taken without notice. Some items are as small as the palm of my hand and would come in very small packaging."

"I am moving in tomorrow! Spencer in the office so so very kind and helpful. I went to Lakeview Towers and they did a really horrible job communicating, so I came next door and met Spencer and made my mind up then. He never hesitated answering questions or helping me sign up and I know I am technology handicapped and he never made me feel like a burden. I can’t wait to be a part of the community here! Thank you Spencer!!!!"

"Great location. Beautiful leasing office. Attentive staff. Parking is scarce even though you have to buy a permit. Decent amenities: gym with mostly functional equipment, clean dog wash, pool and year round hot tub."

"So far so great! We have lived here a month now and the staff had been nothing but friendly and helpful. Especially Missy who helped show us apartments and answer all of our questions while we were living in Brooklyn, NY. Everyone else in the office including maintenance have also been so responsive to any of our concerns. Every item we have requested maintenance on was fixed in the first few weeks including the replacement of some foggy windows. We love our apartment layout and how spacious it is! We have the Peterson layout which is a split floor plan. The living, kitchen and dining are located in the middle of the apartment so it's great for entertaining! We also have great views of the mountains from our bedrooms and balcony and the apartment gets a ton of sunlight! The only complaint we have is people with large dogs do not pick up their dog poo but that is not the fault of the community because there are many stations with poo bags and bins around the complex, some residents are just lazy. We weren't sure how the apartment would turn out since we rented basically site unseen but are extremely happy with our apartment and the awesome Belmar neighborhood!"
