Hyatt Place Denver/Downtown

"The only reason I didn't give full five stars for everything is because my room smelled like burnt hair, and the refrigerator was not working properly. However, the hotel was extremely kind and allowed early check-in and hold your bags for late checkout. good breakfast, and we're very hospitable. I would definitely stay here again, thanks."

"The Hyatt Place gives you a large room with a nice bathroom, lots of storage, plenty of outlets, and a good workspace for less cost than hotels one block closer to the main cluster of conference spaces. The beds are too firm for me, but that's my only complaint. (My back is killing me right now, hence 4 instead of 5 stars.) There's valet parking for an underground lot, a decent workout room, and a breakfast that's fine. There are plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Denver itself can be rough, and this hotel is about 2 blocks away from a part of Denver that has a high crime rate. I never felt threatened walking alone to my conference during the daytime, but I did get harassed (shouted at, briefly followed) a few times by people who were aggressively asking for money. One guy followed me for a solid block and a half as he called me Satan. Nice to be recognized, I suppose... It gets a little rougher during the nighttime. It's a city! Just be aware of your surroundings, and you'll be fine. Basically, stay here and save yourself between $50 and $150 a night if you have a conference here."

"Hands down one of the best places to stay in Denver downtown, my mom and I are here to stay and when we arrived we were greeted kindly and checked in early with no cost fee . Offered complimentary drinks and Erica ( very nice) gave us info of near food and drinks . Rooms clean ! Very spacious. Heated pool and breakfast so yummy! Sierra , very kind as well ! The staff here are accommodating and kind . Wow ! We love this Hyatt and we will be back ."

"Well maintained hotel close to the convention center. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. Mr. Sunny in the front desk was courteous and even printed some documents for my presentation. Had a minor issue with AC that was rectified immediately. Mr. Matt who serviced the AC was attentive and friendly. He offered complimentary coupons for drinks for the inconvenience. Overall, the stay was great. The staff were friendly and approachable. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!"
