"Don’t let this store repair your bike! We are avid cyclists from South Boulder and this used to be our neighborhood bike store - until today. My kid left his bike two days ago for a repair on his derailleur, and he picked up his bike the same day. Today he realized that his bike had been returned to him with the seat post clamp broken, which probably happened when they adjusted the seat to put the bike on their repair stand. Today we went back to the store so they could fix the situation, and the store manager basically told us was our fault, we should have noticed that problem the day the bike was returned! This is completely unprofessional and we will never again set foot in that place… There are many other more reliable and more professional bike stores in Boulder. Edit in re-response to the owner: 1) My son saw the repair person operate the clamp to raise the seat, so the seat post could be clamped to the stand. He has seen this done many times as it is correct procedure (we don't "hang a bike" from the seat for a derailleur repair that requires indexing) 2) "You said that the clamp was already bent." I never said that. I did call the store and made it clear that the bike came back to us with a clamp bent so bad that it was basically broken. This is a factual account of the interaction my son and I had with this store, not my assumptions. 3) "Perhaps it broke off after your son picked up the bike"... How can this "break off" if my son has not adjusted his seat since it came back from the store? My feeling from our interaction with the store manager and the dismissive response from the owner is that this business never really took our concerns seriously. I am all for supporting small local businesses and I do, as much as I can. But this is too disappointing."

"Disappointed with an interaction I had with the staff last week at the south Boulder location when I brought my Ebike in the shop to get looked at. It was having a pedal issue and I was hoping to get it looked at and gather feedback about what the issue could be. The guy that helped me was dismissive of my issue and overall rude during our interaction, trying to pass me on to another tech who was busy working on another bike. I asked that he take off my pedal, inspect the part, and tell me whether or not they had the correct tool to tighten the loose part. The guy simply shrugged and told me there wasnt anything he could do and that I could leave it with them over the weekend..... I left with my bike and brought it to another bike shop in North Boulder. Within 10 minutes my bike was looked at, inspected, the part was tightened and the staff there walked me through exactly what was wrong on my bike. Although this shop I brought it to was an Ebike specific shop*, the gentlemen who helped me said he was surprised that the folks over at South Boulder Cycle sport didn't have the tool, as it is a relatively common tool to have in most bike shops now a days."

"Disappointed when you ask a bike shop for advice on bikes and they don't know what they are doing. I asked for advice on what bike to buy at Play-It-Again Sports or at there place for a kid with a disability and if training wheels were needed. The staff walked over with me helped select the bike and showed me what training wheels to buy on Amazon because your shop didn't have them in stock. I spent $240 on a bike and $40 on training wheels and they didn't work. The staff offered a refund for the training wheels but never paid. The manager Geronimo or whatever it was... was rude not understand of how many days I spent coming to them for help. Take your business elsewhere."

"If you are looking to have any type of service done on your bike, do not come here....look elsewhere unless you want your bike to be on the shop for over a month and still have it be broken. They don't test ride the bike after 'fixing' the issue to see if it's in working order and I had to bring my bike back 3 different times for the same problem and it never got fixed...even when they ordered a brand new part. Long story short, go somewhere else to get your bike serviced. 1 star because they did end up refunding some of the work and the part that didn't work, but only after asking for a refund."
