King Soopers Pharmacy

"Went for 2 vaccines and had first appointment. The pharmacist had a language barrier. I was her only patient and it took 20 minutes to "mix it up". However when she came it was pre filled syringes. I was wearing cutoffs and wanted them either in my thigh or one arm. She denied me both requests and insisted it go one in each arm. Then to end it all she had me sit in waiting chairs in front of everyone and give me the vaccines. As a nurse I would have been is so much trouble under patients rights and dignity. I wanted to go elsewhere and will never go back to Kings at colfax and chamber's. ."

"I’m not sure of the name of the woman who I dealt with. I know pharmacists are slammed and overworked but this person really dropped the ball. I went in yesterday to pick up a prescription (I called earlier in the day to see when it would be ready) and got there to find out that they “didn’t have the prescription and it was sent to another pharmacy and it would be ready Monday.” I should have asked more questions then and there (especially what mystery pharmacy it was sent to) but I was frustrated and left. I called this morning to ask about where it was sent and if I could choose where it gets sent and the woman on the phone (I believe the same woman from yesterday) said they didn’t have it and it would be ready on Monday, WITHOUT asking me what my information was or what the medication was that I needed. I asked if she can send it to a pharmacy that had it in stock (which they should have offered to begin with). She said that another pharmacy had it and they could send it there. 30 minutes later, I call the new pharmacy to check on it find she didn’t send it in. I’m a pretty easy going person but people and the medications they need should be handled with more care."

"Very bad experience. Workers are lazy. I lose patient. I don’t recommend ppl to use this pharmacy. I feel like they don’t care about people. I know the first time I came here for pharmacy. It gives me headache."

"While I really appreciated the pharmacy filling my prescription very quickly I did not have my Medicaid card on me because I had just come straight from work and was expecting to fill it at Walgreens. Apparently King Soopers will not allow you to just give your Medicaid number so I had to pay full price. I explained that I am homeless but apparently King Soopers needs the money more than I do."
