"Ready to serve. My friend always grabs an enormous nacho with tons of meat and shrimp. Usually a fast turnaround, from order to pickup. The parking lot is small but easy to navigate. The difficulty is getting to the restaurant - you enter from Chambers and Parker and drive north to reach Romo's"

"First time here, had the tacos and ordered 3 different meats but they all were extremely dry and had the same taste. It would have been nice to have options for the salsa but it just came with the green salsa.. which was very mild and watery. We told the guy who took our order that it was our first time and asked for recommendations but he hasn't eaten much here so didn't offer any help. Will not be back."

"Like other reviewers, my first impression wasn't very good. I walked in and was the only customer in the building. The cashier was inattentive, on her phone, and not wearing clothing I would expect from someone standing behind the counter. Upon entry, you can tell the owner put a lot of work into making the place look nice. The details are sharp and the vibe is cool, but lack of responsibility by the employees left foodstuffs lying on the tables which took away from the impressive design. I actually enjoyed my tacos. I did not expect to pay so much for 3 tacos and a soda, but the economy is trash and everything is expensive these days. The highlight was the spicy sauce that came with the plate - I loved it."

"Ordered the chicken fajitas at the drive thru and was initially sticker shocked for the price. Got my food home and this was $16 worth of dinner? My corn tortillas are broken and the food is mediocre at best. Not worth the price."

"Upon hearing about Romo's Street Tacos, I was excited to try something that would tantalize my taste buds with authentic flavors. Unfortunately, my anticipation gave way to mixed feelings. The pork adobo tacos were intriguing, but fell short in execution. While loaded with seasoning, giving them an interesting kick, the meat itself was soggy and lacking that char-grilled finish I had expected. It's clear that a little more attention to detail in the preparation would have elevated these tacos to the next level. Instead, they reminded me of home-cooked attempts rather than restaurant quality. However, I must commend Romo's on the presentation. The tacos were arranged beautifully on the plate, providing a visually appealing experience. It’s a shame that the taste didn't live up to the look. Service was another area where Romo's struggled. The gentleman working the cashier seemed more annoyed by my presence than pleased to serve me. This created an unwelcome atmosphere that clashed with the casual street food vibe. Speaking of street food, the prices at Romo's seemed to be at odds with the concept. Street tacos usually denote affordable, quick eats, but the cost here was more in line with a gourmet restaurant. The disconnect between the quality of food and the price only served to enhance my disappointment. In conclusion, while there were aspects of Romo's Street Tacos that I appreciated, like the presentation, the overall experience was lacking. The food's execution, the service, and the pricing all leave room for improvement. If you're in search of authentic street taco flavors that won't break the bank, you may want to look elsewhere. I doubt I will be returning."
