"Out of everywhere I’ve lived prairie grass has by far been my favorite. I enjoyed the community, residence and maintenance staff. They were very accommodating when we got behind on rent and allowed us to do a payment plan. In addition when my washing machine had a leak maintenance was there to help before I had even finished drying the floor and he had it fixed within a couple hours. My only complaint is the office staff either was unaware you could hear them in the gym/front entry or they didn’t care. I heard them talking about me on multiple occasions due to thin doors."

"Disclaimer: I don't live here but did a tour in late Oct '23 & decided not to rent. Nothing terribly wrong... rent was too high & I didn't like the aesthetics. The units are okay. I toured their model, which is a 2b/2b unit with attached garage. For a complex built in 2015 they're more outdated than I'd have thought... black appliances, old side by side w/d (they work, just look used, banged up a bit & dated), the island doesn't appear to be granite, but some "fake" material, meaning it could be damaged more easily so use a cutting board! The layout is clunky... bed/bathrooms are around several corners so there are lots of walls with no flow, but when you enter, you're right in the living room, kitchen & dining room, which is awkward... you can see everything from the front door & I always dislike cooking & eating in the same room where I'd be relaxing on the couch. Because of that, it ultimately felt like a studio apt to me. The good is the beds/baths are split, so if there are 2 roommates with differing schedules or just leading separate lives, each has privacy. 1st floor units come with an attached garage, which is very convenient, but also means there's a higher rent than some complexes in the area. (Although to rent adjust, the other complexes charge $100 for monthly garage rental & none are attached, that I saw.) For flooring, the bedrooms were carpeted with plush, beige, not very attractive carpeting. All other floors are dark vinyl, faux plank. There were lamps in the staged unit so I honestly didn't notice if there's overhead lighting or ceiling fans, cuz I knew I didn't want the unit from the moment we walked in. Bathrooms have tubs & showers, which is a nice feature. The 2-b unit is about 1,150sf. It's not a gated property but is set back from the road so the 'hood is quiet without lots of through traffic. Small outdoor pool (not big enough for lap swimming), covered for the winter season & 3-4 BBQ grills next to the office. They do have a small fitness center in the same bldg as the office. Large mailbox banks around the property where you p/u your mail. The manager is very nice & professional & maintenance was very friendly as we passed him on our tour. There's a carwash on the property, too, btw... a nice savings of $10 for all the nearby drive-thru car washes. Overall, if you can afford the rent (as of today, it's $1,400+ for a 2b/2b with garage) it would be okay, but I've seen better, cheaper complexes nearby if you live alone or don't need a 2b. They also have 1b & 3b units, but I don't recall the rents, although rents are listed & updated on their website. As an FYI, they also have a property in Jordan Creek with a similar layout. It's closer to shopping like Target, Walmart & the mall, if that's important to you, although this complex is around the corner from Hy-Vee & 1/2-mi to Aldi, Fareway, many banks & credit unions, gas stations & smaller outlets, like Starbucks, Caribou Coffee, fitness gyms. I passed as the rent is too high for a dated complex & I just didn't like the overall feel of the units, but overall, it's a solid 3.75* out of 5."

"Extra charges on each bill will make your monthly payment way over $150 of your actual rent. Also, doesn’t look good inside and when we moved in we did a lot of cleaning. Place wasn’t clean and smell really bad. Before renting make sure you ask lot of questions.overall, this apartment is a scam, there are much better apartments around the area compare to this junk."

"I loved my experience living here. The office staff, and maintenance crew were always so friendly and helpful with any questions or comments I had. The grounds are well maintained, and it truly feels like home in this community. I can't recommend this place enough, and if I wasn't moving out of town, I would've resigned in a heartbeat."
